She also contested for the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections but lost in the primaries. [3]
Love Ezema holds several public offices including as a member of Governing Boards of Abia State Polytechnic(ASPOLY); Gregory University, Uturu,(GUU) Abia State; Institute Of Agricultural Research(IAR), Zamaru, Zaria; and Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, (ASCON), in Badagry, Lagos State.
She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Nigeria, and a member of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

The 2023 Abia State gubernatorial election took place on 18 March 2023, to elect the Governor of Abia State, concurrent with elections to the Abia State House of Assembly as well as twenty-seven other gubernatorial elections and elections to all other state houses of assembly.
