Luanne Hunt is a country music and American folk music singer-songwriter.
Hunt first gained public recognition as a recording artist in 1995, when her songs began to get air play on KIK FM Radio in Minnesota. In 1996, she performed at the Starfest Country Music Festival at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona, California, and soon after was featured at Starfest alongside other artists. [1]
From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, Hunt began collaborating with songwriter Lawton Jiles. [2] Hunt and Jiles frequently performed together at concert venues throughout Southern California and worked closely together on various studio-recording projects. During this time she also performed live on several occasions with American R&B singer and songwriter Nolan Porter. Further collaborations with Porter include co-writing songs for Hunt's original musical, "Dove Lessons," which was staged in Claremont, California, in 1997 and raised over $10,000 for the House of Ruth domestic violence shelter.
In 2003, Hunt relocated from Ontario, California, to Hesperia, California, where she teamed up with country/folk producer Eric Uglum and began recording a series of albums. In 2009, Hunt's song "The Sun’s Coming Up Over Memphis" reached No. 10 on Nashville’s New Music Weekly country chart. "Solace in the Wind" went on to receive worldwide airplay on several terrestrial and Internet radio stations. In 2010, the track reached No. 1 on the European Country Music Association’s chart (Belgium). The same year, it reached No. 37 on the Indie World Country Chart. [3]
Hunt’s single “Christmas without You” (from her 2008 album “How Christmas Feels to Me”), written by Lawton Jiles and Buster Beam, is a song that was originally commissioned by Patsy Cline in 1960. In 2008, Jiles asked Hunt to re-record the track, and in 2010 it reached No. 15 on Europe's Hotdisc chart. In December 2011, the track topped European Country Music Association’s chart in France, Denmark, and Belgium. The same month it became the second most played song on UK country music radio. The same year, her track “Bluer Than the Bluegrass” reached No. 5 on Hotdisc's country music chart. The song also reached No. 17 on the Nashville-based Indie World Chart and in August 2015 was declared one of the chart's fastest-rising singles of the month. Her tracks “Pine and the Dogwood,” “He Was There” and “There is a Fountain (Filled with Blood)” all reached No. 1 on Europe's Hotdisc Christian chart. [10]

Kay Toinette Oslin was an American country music singer-songwriter. She had several years of major commercial success in the late 1980s after signing a record deal at age 45. Oslin had four number one hits and placed additional singles on the Billboard country chart during that timespan; in addition, she won three Grammy Awards and is an inductee of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Gretchen Frances Wilson is an American country music singer and songwriter. She made her debut in March 2004 with the Grammy Award-winning single "Redneck Woman", a number-one hit on the Billboard country charts. The song served as the lead-off single of her debut album, Here for the Party. Wilson followed this album one year later with All Jacked Up, the title track of which became the highest-debuting single for a female country artist upon its 2005 release. A third album, One of the Boys, was released in 2007.
"Last Christmas" is a song by British pop duo Wham!, originally released in December 1984 on CBS Records internationally and as a double A-side on Epic Records with "Everything She Wants" in the UK. Described as a "high watermark of mid-80s British synthpop songcraft", it was written and produced by George Michael, and has been covered by many artists since its original release.

She is one of the country's most widely recognized and awarded female country singers of the 1990s, winning the Canadian Country Music Association's Fans' Choice Award twice. In 2011, Wright was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame.
Bucks Fizz were an English pop group that achieved success in the 1980s, most notably for winning the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Making Your Mind Up". The group was formed in January 1981 specifically for the contest and comprised four vocalists: Bobby G, Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston. They received attention for the dance routine which accompanied the song, in which the male members of the group ripped the female members' outer skirts off to reveal much shorter mini-skirts beneath. The group went on to have a successful career around the world, but the UK remained their biggest market, where they had three No.1 singles with "Making Your Mind Up" (1981), "The Land of Make Believe" (1981) and "My Camera Never Lies" (1982) and became one of the top-selling groups of the 1980s. They also had UK Top 10 hits with "Now Those Days Are Gone" (1982), "If You Can't Stand the Heat" (1982), "When We Were Young" (1983) and "New Beginning " (1986). Bucks Fizz have sold over 50 million records worldwide.
"When I Fall in Love" is a popular song, written by Victor Young (music) and Edward Heyman (lyrics). It was introduced in the film One Minute to Zero as the instrumental titled "Theme from One Minute to Zero". Jeri Southern sang on the first vocal recording released in April 1952 with the song's composer, Victor Young, handling the arranging and conducting duties. The song has become a standard, with many artists recording it; the first hit version was sung by Doris Day released in July 1952.

Mark Wayne Glasmire is an American country music singer and songwriter. Glasmire worked as a construction worker while trying to break into the country music scene, self-producing a number of CDs and EPs throughout the 1980s and '90s. In 2009 Glasmire released Life Goes On, a 12-song CD co-produced by John Albani, who had also worked with Steve Azar, Monty Holmes and Randy Boudreaux, which led to Glasmire sharing stages with other country music acts such as Dierks Bentley and Guy Clark. In mid-2012, he released a seven-track EP, also co-produced by Albani, which included "I Like You", a single that had reached number one on the European charts and spent nine weeks at the number one slot on the International Country HotDisc Chart in July and August 2011. The video for "I Like You" was produced by Harold Jarboe and shot in Nashville’s historic Hillsboro Village and features Vanderbilt University students as extras.

"On Purpose" is a song recorded by American singer Sabrina Carpenter from her second studio album Evolution (2016), served as the opening track of the album. The track was written by Carpenter and its producer Ido Zmishlany. The song was released by Hollywood Records as the lead single from Evolution and it was premiered on July 29, 2016. A dance track, "On Purpose" talks about a relationship that was not supposed to happen. It was accompanied by a music video directed by James Miller premiered on her Vevo channel on August 12, 2016. It featured Carpenter walking and touring London.
