Ludovica Caramis (born 27 July 1991) is an Italian model and showgirl. [1]

Biography

Born in Rome to Italian parents, but with a paternal grandfather of Greek origin, [2] her career began in 2009 with the participation in the beauty contest of Miss Italia , where she ranks among the first twenty. From that moment she starts her experience in the entertainment world: on Rai 1 from September 2011 to June 2017, she has participated (with Laura Forgia, Eleonora Cortini and Francesca Fichera) as a "professor" in the television show L'eredità , presented by Carlo Conti until 2014 [3] and by Fabrizio Frizzi from 2014. Caramis took part as showgirl [4] in La Corrida - Dilettanti allo sbaraglio  [ it ] for the first time hosted by Carlo Conti [5] and aired by Rai 1 in the spring of 2018; [6] she was confirmed in the same role also in 2019 and 2020 seasons of Conti's program.

Personal life

She got engaged to footballer Mattia Destro. The couple married on 1 September 2014, [7] after two years of dating, in Ascoli Piceno. They have one son, Leone, born 8 September 2020. [8]

L'eredità is an Italian Rai 1 game show. It premiered on 29 July 2002. From 29 July 2002 to 10 June 2006, it was hosted by Italian presenter Amadeus. He was succeeded by Carlo Conti, who hosted the show until 14 April 2014, when he was replaced by Fabrizio Frizzi. Frizzi hosted until 23 October 2017, when he became ill during the taping of the next show and was taken to the hospital. Carlo Conti substituted for Frizzi from 30 October 2017 to 15 December 2017, and he hosted the special episode in tandem with Fabrizio Frizzi when the latter returned to host the quiz. On 16 December 2017, Fabrizio Frizzi resumed hosting the show by himself until 25 March 2018. The next day, Frizzi died of a brain haemorrhage. Following a hiatus due to Frizzi's death, the game returned from 3 April 2018 until the end of the season with the host Carlo Conti. Flavio Insinna has presented the show since 24 September 2018.
