It was opened as a goods station known as Whiteinch in 1874 as part of the newly constructed Whiteinch Railway. In 1897, the station was rebuilt as Whiteinch Victoria Park, with services running to Jordanhill railway station.

Lugar is a small village in East Ayrshire, southwest Scotland. Lugar is in Auchinleck Parish, Kyle District, Ayrshire. It is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) ENE of Cumnock, and about 1-mile (1.6 km) from Cronberry and 2 miles (3.2 km) from Gaswater. Lugar was a station on the Mauchline and Muirkirk branch of the Glasgow and South Western Railway. Lugar is about 16.5 miles (26.6 km) SE of Kilmarnock.
Bellahouston railway station was a railway station serving the Bellahouston area of Glasgow, Scotland. The station was originally part of the G&SWR Paisley Canal Branch.
Dykebar was a railway station in the Dykebar area to the south of Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. The station was originally part of the Paisley and Barrhead District Railway. The line was opened in 1897 and used by coal trains until the 1960s but none of the stations including this one opened for passenger travel.
Camberwell is a closed railway station in Camberwell, South London, England. It opened in 1862 but was closed to passengers in 1916 and closed to all traffic in 1964. The possibility of the station's re-opening has been raised in recent years.
Thornhill is a closed station. It served the country town of Thornhill in Dumfries and Galloway. The station site is a mile or so from the town. Four miles north of Thornhill is Drumlanrig Castle, home to the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry. The Glasgow and South Western main line rail route between Kilmarnock and Dumfries is forced to make a long detour to the east of Thornhill and through a long tunnel, rather than the more logical route nearer Thornhill town centre and up the Nith Valley, so as not to be seen from the Buccleuch estate. The distance of the station from Thornhill may be one reason that passenger use was light and stopping services ended in 1965. There was formerly a busy livestock market near to the station, which eventually closed around 2001.
Cronberry is a small hamlet situated north-east of Cumnock and one mile north-east of Lugar, in East Ayrshire, Scotland.

Southside railway station, Glasgow, Scotland, was an early passenger terminal situated in the Gorbals area of the city. The station opened on 29 September 1848, for trains operated by the Glasgow, Barrhead and Neilston Direct Railway, which a short time later was absorbed by the Caledonian Railway.
Main Street railway station, Gorbals, Glasgow, Scotland, was built by the City of Glasgow Union Railway while the new line from Shields Junction to St Enoch station was being developed in the 1870s. It was situated adjacent to Gorbals station, which served trains on the Barrhead branch line to St Enoch, close to where the two lines merged at Gorbals Junction. Remnants of both stations can still be seen in Gorbals Street and Hospital Street.
Dawsholm Railway Station was a railway station in Glasgow, Scotland. The station opened for passengers on 1 October 1896 and closed on 1 May 1908 but Dawsholm locomotive shed, code 65D, continued in use until 1964.
