Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal.
Winter sports or winter activities are competitive sports or non-competitive recreational activities which are played on snow or ice. Most are variations of skiing, ice skating and sledding. Traditionally, such games were only played in cold areas during winter, but artificial snow and artificial ice allow more flexibility. Playing areas and fields consist of either snow or ice.

Rink bandy is a variant of the larger sport of bandy. Unlike bandy which is played on a large bandy field, rink bandy is played on significantly smaller ice hockey sized ice rinks.

Sparta Amfi is an indoor ice hockey rink located in Sarpsborg, Norway. The 3,900-spectator venue is the home of Sparta Sarpsborg and Sarpsborg Skøyteklubb. The arena opened in 1963 as the first indoor ice rink in Norway. Major upgrades were carried out in 2006 and 2012, and a second rink opened in 2007.
The XXV Winter Universiade, took place in Erzurum, Turkey between 27 January to 6 February. Erzurum is the city at the highest altitude in Turkey, at 1,850 m (6,070 ft), and has over 320 cultural landmarks. Located in Eastern Anatolia Region, it is a city on the traditional silk road and has been governed by many cultures over the centuries. The Erzurum Ice Hockey Arena, located on the Cemal Gürsel Sports Campus, was newly built with an ice rink of 60m x 30m and 3,000 seats for spectators.

For the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, a total of six sports venues were used. Alpine skiing events took place for the first time and were held in three different locations. Riessersee held the speed skating and some of the ice hockey matches while the bobsleigh events took place south of the lake. The ski jump and its neighboring stadium played host to the cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and ski jumping events. Even though figure skating and some of the ice hockey matches took place outdoors at the ice stadium, the ice itself was artificially refrigerated to prevent ice thawing.
Falu Ishockeyförening or Falu IF is an ice hockey club located in the Swedish city of Falun in Dalarna. The club currently plays in the Western group of Hockeyettan, the third tier of the Swedish ice hockey system, and plays their matches in Lugnets Ishall with a capacity for 2500 spectators.
Slättbergshallen is a sports venue for ice sports in Trollhättan, Sweden. It opened on 14 November 2009. It consists of one indoor venue with a bandy field, which holds 3,400 people, but can hold 4,000 at bigger events, and two indoor venues with ice hockey rinks, one with a spectator capacity of around 2,000 and one without.
Östersund Arena is a multi-purpose venue in Östersund, Sweden. The arena can be used for curling, ice hockey, field hockey, figure skating, gymnastics. The arena opened in 2013, and replaced the Z-hallen for the Östersunds IK ice hockey team.
Falu IK Athletics is a part of sport club Falu IK, founded 1901 in Falun, Sweden. At its inception, the club consisted of several teams, including ice hockey and soccer, but today Falu IK includes only skiing and athletics.
IBF Falun is a floorball club based in Falun, Sweden. Both the men's and women's teams play in the Svenska Superligan (SSL). The men's team won their first SSL gold in 2013 and proceeded to win in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2020, 2021 and 2022 as well. During these successful years, IBF Falun men's team also won three straight Champions Cup golds.

Plivit Arena is an indoor arena in Västervik, Sweden. It is the home arena of the Västerviks IK, ice hockey teams. Its current capacity is 2,500 spectators.
