Luka Chalwell (born 7 April 2004) is a British Virgin Islands footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for National League club Eastleigh and the British Virgin Islands national team. [1]

Club career

A youth academy player of Poole Town, Chalwell is the first British Virgin Islander to play in FA Youth Cup. [2] On 15 June 2023, he signed a two-year contract with Eastleigh, making him the first ever British Virgin Islander footballer to sign a professional contract. [3]

International career

After representing his nation in youth football, Chalwell received his first call-up to the senior team in March 2021. [4] [5] He made his senior debut on 27 March 2021 in a 3–0 loss against Guatemala. [6] On 9 September 2023, he scored his first two international goals in a 3–1 CONCACAF Nations League win against Turks and Caicos Islands. [7]
