Lukas Immanuel Kampa (born 29 November 1986) is a German professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for Barkom-Kazhany Lviv. Kampa is a former member of the Germany national team. [1] [2] [3]
Kampa was born in Bochum, West Germany as a son of Ulrich Kampa – a former volleyball player. He has a sister and a brother David, who is also a volleyball player. He relocated his family to Poland where he has lived for the past 10 years. [4]
In 2014, Kampa signed a contract with the Polish PlusLiga team, Cerrad Czarni Radom. [5] [6] In 2016, he joined Jastrzębski Węgiel. [7] [8]
Kampa was a bronze medallist at the 2014 World Championship and named the Best Setter of the whole tournament.
