Lukas Immanuel Kampa (born 29 November 1986) is a German professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for Trefl Gdańsk. Kampa is a former member of the Germany national team. [1] [2]

Personal life

Kampa was born in Bochum, West Germany as a son of Ulrich Kampa – a former volleyball player. He has a sister and a brother David, who is also a volleyball player. He relocated his family to Poland where he has lived for the past 10 years. [3]

Career

In 2014, Kampa signed a contract with the Polish PlusLiga team, Cerrad Czarni Radom. [4] [5] In 2016, he joined Jastrzębski Węgiel. [6] [7]

Kampa was a bronze medallist at the 2014 World Championship and named the Best Setter of the whole tournament.
