Lullaby is the first solo album from James Walsh, the former lead singer of Starsailor. It was released on September 17, 2012 via iTunes in the UK. [1]
After Starsailor decided to take a hiatus, James teamed up with songwriter Sacha Skarbek to initially work on material for his debut solo album. During these sessions, Sacha introduced James to Philippa Smith, who was in the process of developing a film along with acclaimed Swedish director Ulf Johansson based on Lullaby (novel) by acclaimed US author Chuck Palahnuik. After they quickly put together a demo for the song "Road Kill Jesus", James and Sacha were approached to create an album of music inspired by the script and original source material.
James and Sacha were then provided with song titles, music briefs and images by the production company and work on the album commenced at Abbey Road studios. Sacha covered the walls of the studio with images sent by Ulf Johansson designed to inspire the mood of the film. [2]

The lead single "Start Again" featured an accompanying music video, which was directed by Ulf Johansson and features James playing the part of "Oyster" and actress Natalie Press as "Mona" - characters taken from the script and original Lullaby (novel) book. [4] The song was released as a digital download on July 30, 2012.

Joseph Fidler Walsh is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. In a career spanning over five decades, he has been a member of three successful rock bands: James Gang, Eagles, and Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. He was also part of the New Zealand band Herbs. In the 1990s, he was a member of the short-lived supergroup The Best.

Starsailor are an English post-Britpop band, formed in 2000. Since their formation the band has included guitarist and vocalist James Walsh, drummer Ben Byrne, bassist James Stelfox and keyboardist Barry Westhead. They are best known for their 2003 single "Silence Is Easy" which reached number 9 in the UK.
Silence Is Easy is the second studio album by English indie rock group Starsailor, released in September 2003 on EMI Records. The album cover is loosely based on Echo & the Bunnymen's Heaven Up Here. The song "Some of Us" was featured in an episode of Bones titled "A Boy in a Bush" and in the closing credits of the Belgian film The Memory of a Killer. The album contains some of the last productions by Phil Spector before his murder conviction and imprisonment in 2009, and before his death in 2021. The album sold 54,296 copies in its opening week of release, charting at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. It was certified gold in the UK in 2003.
Love Is Here is the debut studio album by rock band Starsailor, released on 8 October 2001 by Chrysalis Records. After finalising their line-up, a positive review from NME started a bidding war between record labels that eventually saw the band sign to EMI. Following the making of some demos, "Fever" and "Good Souls" were released as singles on 4 February 2001 and 23 April 2001, respectively. The band recorded their debut album at Rockfield Studios with producer Steve Osborne over the course of six weeks. Love Is Here features acoustic guitars accompanied by gentle piano chords, earning it comparisons to the albums Parachutes (2000) by Coldplay, and The Invisible Band (2001) by Travis.

Live from Abbey Road is a 12-part, one-hour performance series/documentary that began filming its first season during 2006 at Abbey Road Studios in London. Season 2 was filmed between 2007 and 2008, season 3 was filmed in 2009 and Season 4 was filmed in 2011. The series features a total of 128 musical artists to date -- usually two or three per show, performing up to five songs per session. The sessions are recorded without a live audience. Filmed in High-Definition with the occasional use of 35 mm lenses, the producers have sought to record performances which "look like a movie and sound like a record".

"Tell Me It's Not Over" is the first single released from the 2009 album, All the Plans by the English alternative rock band, Starsailor. Its release date was announced on 18 October 2008 on their official website and later via YouTube by the lead singer James Walsh and Ben Byrne in their official Channel. It peaked # 73 in the UK Single Charts and #5 in the Belgium Charts making Tell Me It's Not Over their most successful single in Belgium.
Sacha Skarbek is a British songwriter and producer. He is best known for co-writing James Blunt's hit singles "You're Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover" as well as Miley Cyrus' hit song "Wrecking Ball". Skarbek has worked with artists such as Adele, Lana Del Rey, Jason Mraz, Tears for Fears, Duffy and many more.
The Monkey on My Shoulder EP is a collection of demo songs written by British singer-songwriter James Blunt. The EP was released on 4 June 2006, by Custard Records and Atlantic Records, exclusively through Target Stores in the US. The EP was also made available to download via iTunes. The EP features five demo recordings of songs which would later appear on Blunt's debut studio album, Back to Bedlam, or as B-sides to singles from that album. The EP contained a booklet which documents the changes from the original demo recordings, found here, to the finalised recordings. The EP was limited to certain numbers and was not available anywhere in the UK.
Una Theresa Imogene Healy is an Irish singer. She rose to fame in 2008 as a member of five-piece girl group The Saturdays, who are signed to Fascination and Polydor Records. In 2006, she represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest, where she sang with Brian Kennedy on the song "Every Song Is a Cry for Love"; they placed tenth overall. Healy then auditioned for the Saturdays in 2007, after struggling to find success in her native country. Once she had successfully auditioned, she began recording music and releasing a number of hits.
"All the Plans" is a song by the English alternative rock band, Starsailor. The song was officially announced as the second single of Starsailor's album of the same title on 16 April 2009 and was released on 22 June 2009. It was initially known as "All the plans we made".

Peter Aristone is a Slovak singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Prague, Czech republic. Early in his career, he was a member of progressive metal band Personal Signet and pop band Popcorn Drama. His first solo album 19 Days in Tetbury was released in March 2014 with the following EPs Gold (2016) and Happiest Accidents (2017) marking a significant shift from pop to more folk and indie rock oriented sound. His second solo album The Hit was released in June 2020.
All This Life is the fifth studio album by English rock band Starsailor. It was released on 1 September 2017. It is the first studio album released by the band since 2009's All The Plans. It was produced by Embrace guitarist Richard McNamara.
