Biography and work
Luna Paiva was born in Paris, the daughter of photographer Rolando Paiva (1942-2003) and art dealer Teresa Anchorena. [1] She studied art history and archaeology at Paris-Sorbonne University, Institut d'Art et d'Archéologie. She also studied cinema at New York University and theater at Cours Florent. She returned to Buenos Aires in 2003 and has since lived between Argentina and Western Europe. [2]
Paiva received the Buenos Aires Photo Petrobras Art Prize in 2011, and the Itaú Art Prize in 2013. Her work has been exhibited in the permanent collection of the Buenos Aires Museum of Modern Art since 2012. [3] She has also been featured in temporary exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan, New York City, Paris, São Paulo, [4] and in the public space of Miami Beach, Florida in 2018. [5] [6] She has also created shop window installations for luxury brand Hermès, in Buenos Aires and Barcelona, [7] and her jewelry has been featured in Vogue . [8]
Paiva has had two children, Iara and Romeo, with Argentine artist Leandro Erlich. In 2021 she had a daughter, Athena Sol, with French economist Pablo Bofill, whom she married in 2022. [3] [9]
Victor Grippo was an Argentine painter, engraver and sculptor, considered the father of conceptual art in Argentina. He was born in Junín, province of Buenos Aires, the elder of two sons of an Italian immigrant father and an Argentine mother of Albanese origin.
Martín Sastre is a Uruguayan film director and contemporary media artist working with film, video, sculpture, photography and drawing.

Appetite was a gallery and artist-run space, founded by Daniela Luna, in the neighborhood of San Telmo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its mission was to showcase and promote new artists. It sometimes courted controversy, before closing in mid-2011.
Faena Art Center is the cultural center of the Faena District Buenos Aires, a residential and cultural community in the Puerto Madero waterfront in Buenos Aires developed by the Faena Group and opened in September 2011. Alan Faena founded the center. Ximena Caminos is the Executive Director.
Pablo Reinoso is an Argentine–French artist and designer who has been working in Paris since 1978.
Pilar Zeta is an Argentine multimedia artist, graphic designer and creative director currently based on Mexico City. She is best known for her surrealist style, which was inspired by ancient Egypt and cosmology. After meeting Phil Harvey, from British rock band Coldplay, she created artworks for A Head Full of Dreams (2015), Everyday Life (2019) and Music of the Spheres (2021), with the former being nominated for in the Best Recording Package category at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

Delia Cancela is an Argentine pop artist and fashion designer. She has lived in Argentina, New York, London and Paris, and exhibited internationally. Retrospective exhibitions of her work and her collaborations with Pablo Mesejean include Delia Cancela 2000-Retrospectiva (2000), Pablo & Delia, The London Years 1970-1975 (2001), and Delia Cancela: una artista en la moda (2013).
Adrián Villar Rojas is an Argentinian sculptor known for his elaborate fantastical works which explore notions of the Anthropocene and the end of the world. In his dream like installations he uses aspects of drawing, sculpture, video and music to create immersive situations in which the spectator is confronted with ideas and images of their imminent extinction.
Juan Nicolás Melé was an Argentine sculptor, painter, and art critic. Melé was a member of the Asociación Arte Concreto-Invención as well as co-founder of the Grupo Arte Nuevo.
Dalila Puzzovio is an Argentine visual artist and fashion designer active during the 1960s. Puzzovio works in the art forms of pop, happening, and conceptual art. Her artistic creativity is credited by Graciela Melgarejo as having paved the way for subsequent Argentine artists and greatly influenced the work they produced.
Mari Nalte Orensanz is an Argentine artist. Her artwork examines the integration of thought and matter as a methodology to obtain a social consciousness. Orensanz's experience of Argentina's "Dirty War" has influenced her artwork and translated itself into the work Pensar es un Hecho Revolucionario. Located in the Parque de la Memoria in Bueno Aires, it is attributed as a monument for the victims of state terrorism.
Liliana Maresca was an Argentine artist. Her works cover a variety of styles including sculpture, painting, graphic montages art objects and installations. She was a prominent artist in the period following the dictatorship of the National Reorganization Process. She was a key figure who participated in the artistic scene since the early 80's, starring the enthusiastic young bohemian that detonated Buenos Aires from the early years of democracy rapidly becoming an inflection figure. Her works included objects, installations, performances, interventions in public and semipublic places, and the photographic performances. Maresca died of AIDS in 1994, just a few days after the opening of her retrospective at the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires.
Diego Bianchi is an Argentinian visual artist. He lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Fabiana Barreda is an Argentine photographer, performer, installationist and multimedia artist. Her work specializes in the body, desire and politics of gender. She has participated in national and international exhibitions, being the most important ones in places such as Museum of Modern Art, New York University (USA), International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (Netherlands), Telefonica Foundation of Madrid (Spain) and Museum of Monterrey – MACO (Mexico).
Silvia Rivas is an Argentine visual artist known for her multi-channel video installations. In Latin America she is considered a precursor in the area of expanded video. Her work is characterized by the crossing of materialities and technologies in which she uses both electronic devices and ancestral techniques. Her production is organized in thematic series of video installations, drawings, photographs or objects. Interested in revealing the metaphorical power of different materialities, she uses the electronic medium and the moving image to record stillness, the imminent and the subjective perception of time.
Pablo Bofill is a French architecture firm executive. As of 2022, he is the co-head of Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura (RBTA) in Barcelona, jointly with his half-brother Ricardo Emilio Bofill.
