Luttach (Italian : Lutago) is a mountain village in northern Italy. It is a frazione of the comune of Ahrntal in South Tyrol.
It is a popular tourist destination in all seasons and boasts several hotels, as well as numerous shops and an indoor swimming pool. Hiking and rafting on the river Ahr are on offer during the summer months, while the two nearby ski areas of Klausberg and Speikboden cater to winter sports enthusiasts.
It nestles in the crease of a sharp alpine valley, at an elevation of some 970 m above sea level.
Among the beautiful traditional buildings, the Church of St. Sebastian occupies a prominent place on a rise overlooking the town. Its charming cemetery features a number of wrought-iron crosses by the artisan blacksmith Jakob Pareiner.
The town is also associated with the renowned journalist Vinzenz Oberhollenzer, who has written a great deal about his native valley. The British novelist Tim Parks set his story Cleaver (2006) in the surroundings of Luttach. The Italian tennis player Karin Knapp has her residence in Luttach. [1]
The Zhongsha Islands is a Chinese term for a collection of two skerries, many entirely submerged banks, seamounts, and shoals in the South China Sea. There are in fact, no islands in the Macclesfield Bank, the main part of Zhongsha. The Scarborough Shoal, which consists of two skerries, is not contiguous with the Macclesfield Bank but Chinese sources treat them as one chain of geographical features. The whole of the region is claimed by both the PRC and the ROC, and various bits of the eastern parts are claimed by the Philippines. No country has constant control of the whole region, and there are disputes - for example, see Scarborough Shoal standoff.

The Passeier Valley is the valley of the Passer river, in the mountains of South Tyrol, northern Italy. The Passer river is a left-bank tributary to the Adige. At the mouth of the valley, where the two rivers join, stands the town of Merano. From there, the valley runs north to the Timmelsjoch mountain pass, which leads to Sölden in the Ötztal valley of Austria and to the Jaufenpass which leads to Sterzing in the Wipptal.

It is commonly divided into the Tauferer Tal, stretching from the confluence with the Rienz River near Bruneck up to Sand in Taufers, and the Ahrntal proper up to the source in Prettau.
