Lyfe Change is the third studio album by Lyfe Jennings, released on April 29, 2008. [6]

"The album is called Lyfe Change because I'm changing it up a bit," explains Lyfe. "In the past I didn't work with different producers, I produced and wrote most of my albums by myself. But on this project I actually worked with different producers and a few writers." [7]

The first single off the album is called "Cops Up". It peaked at number 68 on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. [8] The song was originally written for R&B duo, Luke & Q.

The second single is called "Never Never Land". It peaked at number 21 on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. [8]

The third single has been released and is called "Will I Ever".

Lyfe Change debuted at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 80,000 copies in its opening week. [9]

In the limited edition of the CD came with a DVD featuring a Live Performance in an Ohio Prison and the "Cops Up" music video. The DVD is edited in both versions.

Nel Ust Wyclef Jean is a Haitian rapper and record producer. At the age of nine, he emigrated with his family to the Northeastern United States. Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., known professionally as T.I. or Tip, is an American rapper. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Harris is credited as one the pioneers of the hip hop subgenre trap music, along with fellow Georgia-based rappers Jeezy and Gucci Mane. He first became acquainted with local music executive Kawan "KP" Prather, and joined his company Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment by the late 1990s. He was led to sign a major-label record deal with its parent company LaFace Records, an imprint of Arista Records in 1999. His debut studio album, I'm Serious (2001), was met with lukewarm critical and commercial reception, becoming his only release with the label. He then signed with Atlantic Records, where he soon reached his mainstream breakthrough and co-founded his own label imprint, Grand Hustle Records by 2003.

"Must Be Nice" is the second single released from R&B/soul musician Lyfe Jennings' debut album, Lyfe 268-192. The song rose to #40 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, while making it to #5 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. A remix with New York rapper Nas is featured on the "special edition" version of the album. The music video for this song was shot in Concourse, Bronx, New York.

Life is the soundtrack to the 1999 film, Life. It was released on March 16, 1999, by Rockland Records and Interscope Records. The soundtrack was almost entirely produced by R&B singer R. Kelly, with Wyclef Jean and Jerry Duplessis producing four tracks on the album. The soundtrack was a huge success, making it to No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
