M3 Records (formerly known as M3 Macmil Music) is an American independent hip hop record label in New York City, headed by rapper Masta Ace. The label was founded in 2003, nearly two years after Ace's former label, JCOR Records, folded. The first nationally distributed release on the label was Ace's fifth studio album A Long Hot Summer . The label is now home to Ace's supergroup eMC, which also features underground duo Punch & Words and Milwaukee rapper Strick.

The Juice Crew was an American hip hop collective made up largely of Queensbridge, New York–based artists in the mid-to-late 1980s. Founded by radio DJ Mr. Magic, and housed by Tyrone Williams' record label Cold Chillin' Records, the Juice Crew helped introduce New School artists MC Shan, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shante, Masta Ace, Tragedy, Craig G and Kool G Rap. The crew produced many answer records and engaged with numerous "beefs" – primarily with rival radio jock Kool DJ Red Alert and the South Bronx's Boogie Down Productions, as well as the "posse cut", "The Symphony".

In 1998, the label shut down, and the majority of its expansive catalog was bought by Massachusetts-based LandSpeed Records.

It was released on May 2, 1995, through Delicious Vinyl. Recording sessions took place at Firehouse Studios in Brooklyn. Production was handled by Masta Ace under his producer moniker 'Ase One', as well as the Bluez Brothas, Louie "Phat Kat" Vega and Uneek, with Orlando Aguillen serving as executive producer. Edward Anderson is a hip-hop artist from Boston, Massachusetts, better known by his stage name Ed O.G.. Edo is the seniormost hip-hop artist from Boston, in the sense that he was the first to gain recognition in New York City and in the wider United States of America, and remains one of the best-known Boston rap artist internationally, having collaborated with large numbers of independent rap artists all over the globe. He is additionally known by the name Edo G., which was initially a misspelling by a record label but has endured.

Tauren O'lander Strickland, known professionally as Strick, is a Grammy nominated American rapper and songwriter from Lumberton, North Carolina. He signed with Young Thug's YSL Records, 300 Entertainment, and Atlantic Records in 2018, and has been credited with songwriting work for other rappers.
