MAD TV Cyprus is a digital music channel and the Cypriot version of the Greek MAD TV, launched on July 1, 2011.

MAD TV Cyprus broadcasts mainly English, American, Cypriot and Greek music.

The launch party was named "Mad Party" and held in "RED" Club in Nicosia on 5 July 2011, with guest appearances from Kosta Martaki, Eleni Foureira, as well as Greek band as Onirama and the Cypriot singer Ivi Adamou.

MAD TV Cyprus is available through Velister digital platform, via cable on Cablenet and via IPTV on CytaVision.

At first, its programming will be similar to its sister channel in Greece but with Cypriot advertisements. Later the channel will have Cypriot programming.

Anna Vissi, also known as Anna Vishy, is a Greek Cypriot singer, songwriter, actress, television presenter, radio personality, and businesswoman. She studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens.

Omega TV is a free to air terrestrial TV channel. It is the first private television channel established in Cyprus. Since the launch of the channel in 1992, it has been dedicated to broadcasting high quality Cypriot and Greek programming including kids programs as well as Church orientated programs. MTV (Greek TV channel)

MTV Greece was a Greek free-to-air television channel launched on 1 September 2008, replacing Smart TV. Owned by Viacom International, it closed down suddenly on 11 January 2016, one year prior the proper MTV copyrights come to an end, despite the good ratings. It was replaced by RISE TV on terrestrial television. Also, it OTE TV and NOVA subscription providers, it was replaced by MTV Europe and MTV Live HD.

"Mr. Perfect" is a song by the Greek singer Helena Paparizou. The song's title was announced in mid-November and was released on 2 December 2011. The song will be left as a digital release on iTunes due to Helena changed label recently and eliminated from Sony Music Greece.

Greece confirmed its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, to be held between 14 and 18 May 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. The Greek national broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), announced on 15 January 2013 that it had reached an agreement with private music channel MAD TV to take on the organization and production of a national final to select a song to represent Greece in the contest. Additionally, MAD TV will also handle all related preparations associated with the contest. ERT stated that it had taken this decision, after reaching out to record labels and failing to secure a deal with them as in previous years. A national final was held on 18 February 2013, with Koza Mostra and Agathonas Iakovidis winning with the song "Alcohol Is Free".
