MNYNMS (pronounced "Many Names") is a live electronic music trio from Houston, Texas made up of members Jake Childs (Production and live drums), Jessica Wahlquist (Production, vocals and Keys) and Lacey Youngblood (Live Keyboard).

Music

Their first EP, Projection Series was released on the label Detroit Underground to iTunes in 2015 and received positive reviews. [1] Their second EP Rite of Passage was released to iTunes in 2016. They have worked on projects with other electronic music acts such as Teeel, The New Division, FM Attack, Faded Away as well as various unofficial remixes. [2]

Festivals and Performances

In 2015, MNYNMS performed alongside electronic music group Teeel at the renowned Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to local performances in their native city of Houston, Texas, they have performed at large EDM festivals such as Whatever Festival [3] and Day for night Festival. [4] [5]

Acclaim

In 2016 they were nominated for an award in the Houston Press Music Awards. [6] A recent article in Nylon Magazine credits the group for "refreshing the electronic music scene in Houston". [7]

Giuseppe Ottaviani is an Italian DJ and record producer. He's best known for his 2019 album, EVOLVER, which included the hit singles Tranceland, 8K, & Panama. A long-time veteran of trance music, Ottaviani is also a member of the project Pure NRG with British producer Solarstone.

DJ Drew G is an American-born DJ and music producer in Dallas. He is reporting for DJ Times Magazine and Billboard Magazine.

Purity Ring (band) Canadian electropop band

Purity Ring is a Canadian electronic pop band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, formed in 2010. The band consists of multi-instrumentalist/producer Corin Roddick and vocalist Megan James. They released their debut album Shrines in 2012 to critical acclaim, followed by Another Eternity in 2015 and Womb in 2020. The band released an EP, Graves, on June 3, 2022.

Lost Stories is an Indian DJ/producer duo composed of Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi. They are best known for their ability to uniquely blend Indian folk sounds with electronic music. Some of their most popular tracks are "Bombay Dreams" with KSHMR, "Mahi" with Kavita Seth, their official remix of Alan Walker's "Faded", their edit of "Vaseegara" with Jonita Gandhi's vocals, "Mai Ni Meriye" with Jonita Gandhi and Ashwin Adwani, and their official remix of Marshmello and Demi Lovato's "OK Not To Be OK".

Culolethu Zulu, known commonly by his stage name Culoe De Song, is a South African producer, remixer and DJ. His first name, "Culolethu", is an IsiZulu name meaning "our song", and he is known as "Culo" or "Culoe" meaning "song"; the name is pronounced with a clicking "C", not to be erroneously pronounced like the Spanish word "culo", which rhymes with "cool". He released his first album, A Giant Leap, in 2009. In 2011, he released his album Elevation with the help of Kindnes Khupe, a Zimbabwean-born tribal mix DJ. Later, he released Exodus (2013). Culoe De Song recently won The Best Male Artist for the 2014 Metro FM Awards for his album Exodus, an album that was featured on Rolling Stone's Top 500 Albums of 2013. He also participated in the 2008 Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona, Spain.

Zhu (musician) American musician and producer

Steven Zhu, known mononymously as Zhu, is an American electronic music producer and singer who has been active since the beginning of 2014, signed to Mind of a Genius Records. Until mid-2014, Zhu remained anonymous, asking to be judged by his music alone. His debut album, Generationwhy, was released on July 29, 2016 and first premiered at Coachella during his closing set in the Sahara Tent. Zhu's Coachella performance was praised, with a writer for the New York Observer suggesting that he could be "the next Daft Punk".

Sammy Boeddha Renders, better known by his stage name Sam Feldt, is a Dutch DJ, record producer and entrepreneur.

Snakehips are a British electronic music duo. The line-up consists of Oliver Lee and James Carter. Snakehips made their name with Hype Machine doing remixes for Banks, The Weeknd, Bondax and Wild Belle. They are best known for their 2015 single, "All My Friends".

Grey (duo) American electronic music duo

Grey is an American electronic music duo consisting of brothers Kyle and Michael Trewartha. They are best known for their debut 2016 single "Starving", with American singer Hailee Steinfeld and production work by Zedd, and "The Middle", a 2018 single in collaboration with Zedd and Maren Morris. They primarily produce music of the future bass genre.

Lost Kings are an American DJ duo consisting of Robert Abisi and Nick Shanholtz, based in Los Angeles. The duo gained popularity beginning in 2014 through their official remixes for artists such as Imagine Dragons, Krewella, Halsey, Vance Joy, Echosmith, Rihanna, and Tori Kelly, and through their original progressive house music. Managed by Disruptor Management, a joint venture at Sony Music Entertainment, they signed to Disruptor Records/RCA Records in October 2016.

Massive Ego was a British Darkwave musical group formed in 1996 by singer and ex-model, Marc Massive and Andy J Thirwall. The band has changed its sound and image since its formation. The original releases being mostly covers in a Eurodance, Hi-NRG style. Massive and Thirwall later parted ways, and Massive searched for a new musical direction for the band. Collaborations with Empire State Human and Lia Organa & Electric Prince were the start of a darker sound for the band. The band joined alternative German label Out of Line Music in 2015 with the line-up; Marc Massive, Oliver Frost, Lloyd Price and Scot Collins. Their debut album for Out of Line was released on 17 February 2017. The current themes of the songs centre around the darker side of life, depression and anxiety, death, suicide, love, sex and vampirism.

Jai Wolf American musician

Sajeeb Saha, known professionally as Jai Wolf, is a Bangladeshi-American, New York-based electronic music producer. He is best known for his singles, "Indian Summer", "Like It's Over", and "Starlight". He is currently signed to Mom + Pop Music.

Shallou Musical artist

Joe Boston, professionally known as stage name Shallou, is a Los Angeles-based singer, producer, and environmentalist, who produces ambient, house melodies with soulful vocals that have carved a niche in the Indie and Electronic music scenes. His debut EP, All Becomes Okay, was released in May 2017, followed by EP Souls in April 2018, both through his own label, Sleeptalker. Shallou was signed by Island Records in 2019 and released his debut album, Magical Thinking in early 2020.

George Emanuel Călin better known as Manuel Riva is a Romanian DJ and record producer. A long running artist and DJ, he had started with the trop Demmo and later in the duo Deepcentral.
