The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition which has been organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) annually since 2003.
The winner of the Eurovision Song Contest is selected by a positional voting system. The most recent system was implemented in the 2023 contest, and sees each participating country award two sets of 12, 10, 8–1 points to their ten favourite songs: one set from their professional jury and the other from televoting, with only televoting used in the semi-finals, and both jury and televoting in the final.
Belarus has participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in every edition since its inception in 2003 until 2020. The Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC), then a member organisation of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), has been responsible for the selection process of its participants since its debut. The country hosted the contest at the Minsk-Arena in 2010 and again in 2018.
Romania was represented by Mădălina & Andrada at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Salvaţi planeta!", a song about saving the planet. "Salvaţi planeta!" was the winner of the Romanian national final Selecţia Naţională Eurovision Junior 2008, held on 1 June 2008.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the eighth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Minsk, Belarus. It was held on 20 November 2010. The contest was won by Vladimir Arzumanyan from Armenia with the song Mama. This gave Armenia its first Junior Eurovision victory and its first victory in any Eurovision contest.
Macedonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Jas ja imam silata" written by Kristijan Gabroski. The song was performed by Gjoko Taneski featuring Billy Zver and Pejčin. The Macedonian broadcaster Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) organised Skopje Fest 2010 in order to select the Macedonian entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway. 28 entries competed in the competition which consisted of three shows: two semi-finals and a final. Fourteen songs competed in each semi-final and the top eight from each semi-final qualified to the final. In the final, "Jas ja imam silata" performed by Gjoko Taneski was selected following the combination of votes from a six-member jury panel and a public televote.
Malta selected their Junior Eurovision entry for 2010 through Junior Eurosong, a national final consisting of 20 songs. The winner was Nicole Azzopardi, with the song "Knock Knock!...Boom! Boom!"
Belgium was represented by Jill Van Vooren and Lauren De Ruyck in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Get Up!".
Latvia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 which took place on 20 November 2010, in Minsk, Belarus. The Latvian broadcaster Latvijas Televīzija (LTV) selected the Latvian entry for the 2010 contest internally.
Netherlands selected their Junior Eurovision entry for 2010 through Junior Songfestival, a national selection consisting of 8 songs. The winners were Anna & Senna, with the song "My Family".
Lithuanian broadcaster LRT announced their participation for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in August 2010. The National Final, "Vaiku Eurovizija" chose Bartas, the 14‑year-old singer to represent Lithuania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
Macedonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Rusinka" written by Grigor Koprov, Jovan Jovanov, Vladimir Dojčinovski and Marko Marinković. The song was performed by Vlatko Ilievski. The Macedonian broadcaster Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) organised Skopje Fest 2011 in order to select the Macedonian entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Twenty entries competed in the competition on 27 February 2011 where "Rusinka" performed by Vlatko Ilievski was selected following the combination of votes from a fifteen-member jury panel and a public televote.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was the ninth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place in Yerevan, Armenia at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. It was the first time in history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that the contest was held in the previous year's winning country. Public Television of Armenia ARMTV was the main organizer of the show, being provided financial aid from the European Broadcasting Union made of entrance fees from the participating broadcasters, while Swedish company HD Resources assisted with the technical side of the production.
Armenia selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 entry by a national final. The winner was Vladimir Arzumanyan with "Mama", which represented Armenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 on 20 November 2010.
Georgia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 which took place on 20 November 2010, in Minsk, Belarus. Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) was responsible for organising their entry for the contest. Mariam Kakhelishvili was externally selected to represent Georgia with the song "Mari Dari". Georgia placed fourth with 109 points.
Belarus participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011. The Belarusian entry for the 2011 contest was selected through the national final Song for Europe, organised by the Belarusian broadcaster National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was the sixteenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by the Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It took place in the Belarusian capital city, Minsk on 25 November 2018 at the Minsk-Arena. It was the second time that the contest was held in Belarus, after it staged the 2010 edition at the same venue.
Belarus participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 which took place in Minsk, Belarus on 25 November 2018. The Belarusian entry for the 2018 contest was selected through a national final organised by the Belarusian broadcaster National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus. It saw ten competing acts participating in a televised production where the winner was determined by a 50/50 combination of votes from a jury made up of music professionals and a public vote.
Armenia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 which took place on 25 November 2018 in Minsk, Belarus. The Armenian broadcaster Armenian Public Television (ARMTV) is responsible for organising their entry for the contest.

Macedonian broadcaster MRT was responsible for organising their entry for the contest. Marija Spasovska was internally selected on 18 August 2018 as the Macedonian representative.
