Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD) is a coordinating school district based in Clinton Township, Michigan. The district serves local school districts in Macomb County, primarily through the providing of special education support, services and screening of students. [2] The MISD operates several schools of its own to educate more seriously disabled children.

Center Line High School is a public high school located in Center Line, Michigan. It is part of Center Line Public Schools. Center Line High School serves students living in Warren and Center Line, but is open to students living outside of the district through the Michigan School of Choice program. The school colors are orange and black and the mascot is the panther. Center Line High School employs an academy model that exposes students to a multitude of careers, industry skills, and potential employers through classroom instruction, guest speakers, site visits, job shadowing, and internships. Center Line High School offers students AP classes and dual enrollment into the Early College of Macomb program at Macomb Community College, the Macomb Mathematics, Science, and Technology Center program of Warren Consolidated Schools, or the International Academy of Macomb. The International Academy of Macomb (IAM/IA) is a public, magnet high school in Macomb County, Michigan located in the Chippewa Valley 9th Grade Center in Clinton Township. The school opened in the spring of 2008 and is an International Baccalaureate school as of early 2010. The first two years at the IAM consist of International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme courses. After these two years, students will begin the International Baccalaureate program, which lasts for two years. All IB students will have to complete 9 'CAS' experiences throughout the two IB years. After all four years are completed, students will partake in several IB exams in order to receive their IB diploma. The students at the IAM get an understanding of the world through many great books, including Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, The Odyssey by Homer, and The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Although it is an IB school, the IAM is still considered a public school, but it requires students to pass a test and get drawn in a lottery to become enrolled. There is no tuition required for students, but there is an initial $150 fee that will cover computer fees. Each student will receive his or her own laptop that will be used throughout the four years at the IAM, and any damage can usually be fixed with a re-imaging, including physical damage to the laptop.

McAllen Memorial High School is one of five high schools serving the McAllen, Texas area as a part of the McAllen Independent School District. It houses over 2,000 students from grades 9-12. Prior to the establishment of Memorial High School, the school and its building were originally opened and operated as Brown Middle School. The high school opened in 1980, at its current location, 101 East Hackberry Avenue McAllen, Texas, United States. The school colors are Columbia blue and bright gold and the mascot is a mustang. All athletic teams compete in the UIL District 30-6A.

Lori M. Stone is an American politician and teacher currently serving as the mayor of Warren, Michigan. Stone previously served as a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives who represented District 13.
