Songsoptok (Shôngshôptôk) is a drama serial which aired on Bangladesh Television. It was first filmed in the year 1971, but filming was stopped after just four episodes as the liberation war started in March. After many years, filming restarted in 1988; but it was put on hold yet again after the widespread floods started. Filming was resumed after the floods ceased. It is based on the novel of the same name by Shahidullah Kaiser.

Kothao Keu Nei is a Bangladeshi drama television series written by Humayun Ahmed and directed by Barkatullah, which aired on Bangladesh Television from 1992 to 1993. The series is about the struggles of a gangster named Baker Bhai. It was adapted from the book of the same name.
Afroza Sultana Ratna is a Bangladeshi film actress. She earned a total of ten Bangladesh National Film Awards. Her national film award-winning roles were in Janani (1977), Sokhi Tumi Kar (1980), Dui Poisar Alta (1982), Nazma (1983), Bhat De (1984), Apeksha (1987), Ranga Bhabi (1989), Moroner Pore (1990) and Achena (1991). In 1981, Shabana attended the 12th Moscow International Film Festival where she met actress Natalya Belokhvostikova. Shabana served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and helped with vaccination campaigns against polio in Bangladesh in 1988 and 1989. She was photographed with fellow UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador actress, Audrey Hepburn, in 1989. In July 2017, Shabana was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Prime Minister for her contribution as an actress to the Bangladeshi Film Industry.
Chorabali is a 2012 Bangladeshi action thriller film written and directed by Redoan Rony. It stars Indraneil Sengupta, Joya Ahsan, Shahiduzzaman Selim and many more. It was Rony's debut film. It released on 21 December 2012.

Palabi Kothay is one of flop films in Bangladesh. The film is a remake of Kamal Haasan's own Tamil hit, Magalir Mattum which itself was a remake of the 1980 American film 9 to 5.
Ramer Sumati is a 1985 Bangladeshi drama film starring Bobita and Joy in lead roles. Prabir Mitra plays grandfather's role. This is the debut film of actor Sadek Bachchu.
Poran Jai Jolia Re is a 2010 Bangladeshi romance film. The film is directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan and produced by Shafiqul Islam under the banner of Bandhan Banichitra. It's story is written by Anonno Mamun, screenplay by Sohanur Rahman Sohan himself and dialogues by prominent director Chatku Ahmed. The film stars Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan, Dilara Hanif Purnima, Rumana Khan, ATM Shamsuzzaman and Misha Sawdagor. It was a commercial success at the box office and became a superhit.
