Madeline Pendleton Hansen (born 17 August 1986) [1] is an American fashion designer, TikTok influencer, and author. She is the founder of Tunnel Vision, a small clothing business run out of Los Angeles, California. She was the partner of the late clothing designer and musician Drew Bernstein. [2]

Pendleton grew up in Fresno, California. [3]

Pendleton founded Tunnel Vision clothing. [3] She is known for splitting the company's earnings equally between all employees, with each employee including herself taking home the same wage. [4] Madeline self-describes her business structure as running on a "socialist model." One of Pendleton's goals for the company is ensuring every employee owns a home. [5]

Pendleton wrote I Survived Capitalism and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt: Everything I Wish I Never Had To Learn About Money, which was released January 16, 2024. [1] The book is a mix of autobiographical and personal finance material, detailing Pendleton's life and how she survived homelessness, debt, and being on a low income, sharing a series of "capitalism survival skills" that helped her in the process of survival.

In them, she chronicles her relationship and marriage to Jerome McCoy, a man who she calls "Legion" and who she describes as a pathological liar that, unbeknownst to her, falsified the majority of details about his life. The series quickly went viral online, earning praise from social media users and critics for Johnson's storytelling skills and prompting a response from McCoy. It is scheduled to be made into a television series, starring and executive produced by Natasha Rothwell.
