However, he seems to have a mysterious connection with her family and a rather dark past.
Ugramm (transl. Anger) is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film directed by Prashanth Neel in his directorial debut, and produced by his brother Pradeep Neel. It stars Sriimurali and Hariprriya in the lead roles, with Tilak Shekar, Avinash, Atul Kulkarni, and Jai Jagadish in supporting roles. The music was composed by Ravi Basrur. Bhuvan Gowda serves as the main cinematographer with Ravi Varman as a guest cinematographer, marking his debut in Kannada cinema.
Prashanth Neelakantapuram, popularly known as Prashanth Neel, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Kannada and Telugu films. He debuted with the Kannada action-thriller Ugramm (2014) and later directed the KGF duology (2018–2022), whose second part became the highest-grossing Kannada film of all-time. Subsequently, Neel had his maiden Telugu film release with Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023).
Mufti (transl. Undercover) is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language neo-noir action thriller film directed by Narthan, making his debut, and produced by Jayanna Combines. The film stars Shiva Rajkumar, Sriimurali, and Shanvi Srivastava in the lead roles, while Devaraj, Chaya Singh, Madhu Guruswamy, Vasishta N. Simha, and Babu Hirannaiah play supporting roles. The film tells the story of an undercover cop (Sriimurali) who tracks down and confronts a crime boss (ShivaRajkumar).
Ravi Basrur is an Indian music composer, lyricist and director who mostly works in the Kannada film industry. He is known for his collaborations with director Prashanth Neel, with whom he debuted in Ugramm. He is also a film director, having directed the films Gargar Mandala and Girmit.
Saakshyam (transl. Witness) is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language fantasy action film written and directed by Sriwass, and produced by Abhishek Pictures. Hombale Films is an Indian film production and distribution company mainly known for the K.G.F franchise, Kantara and Salaar. It was founded by Vijay Kiragandur and named by Puneeth Rajkumar, who collaborated with the company on 3 films.
Bhuvan Gowda is an Indian cinematographer who works in Kannada films. His popular works include Ugramm (2014), KGF duology (2018–2022) and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023). Gowda has won the SIIMA Award for Best Cinematographer – Telugu for the latter.
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language epic action thriller film directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is the soundtrack to the 2023 film of the same name directed by Prashanth Neel under the production of Hombale Films, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan. The film features music composed by Ravi Basrur and lyrics written by Krishna Kanth. The soundtrack which consisted of four songs and three instrumental tracks were released by Hombale Music and Divo on 31 December 2023.
Bhairathi Ranagal is a 2024 Indian Kannada-language neo-noir action thriller film directed by Narthan and produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar under Geetha Pictures. The film stars Shiva Rajkumar, alongside Rahul Bose, Rukmini Vasanth, Devaraj, Chaya Singh, Madhu Guruswamy, Vasishta N. Simha, Shabeer Kallarakkal and Babu Hirannaiah. It is a follow-up to the 2017 film Mufti, serving as both a sequel and prequel.
