Magic City is the second studio album by New Zealand music producer P-Money. It was released in late 2004 through Dirty Records with distribution via Festival Mushroom Records. Production was handled entirely by P-Money, who also served as executive producer together with Callum August. It features guest appearances from Con Psy, Scribe, Aasim, PNC, Skillz, Sauce Money, Jatis, Akon, Capone, Mystro, Roc Raida and Tyna.
The album debuted at number 2 on the NZ Official Top 40 Albums, and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand on the same day. On 20 December 2004 it was certified Platinum. In 2005, it won 'Best Hip Hop Release' at bNet NZ Music Awards and 'Best Urban Album' at RIANZ New Zealand Music Awards.
It was supported by singles: "Stop the Music" and "Keep on Callin'", which both went charted on the Official New Zealand Music Chart at number 1 and number 23, respectively. "Stop the Music" won 'Best Hip-Hop Single' at Australian Urban Music Awards in 2006.

Country Grammar is the debut studio album by American rapper and singer Nelly. It was released on June 27, 2000, by Universal Records. The production on the album was handled by Jason "Jay E" Epperson, with additional production by C-Love, Kevin Law, City Spud, Steve "Blast" Wills and Basement Beats. Nelly contributed to all lyrics on the album, with Epperson and City Spud also contributing. With the album's release, Nelly and his “St. Lunatics” crew cemented the St. Louis sound firmly amongst other southern hip hop artists in the year 2000, such as Juvenile, Trina, Ludacris, OutKast, Three 6 Mafia, Tech N9ne, and UGK. Country Grammar also introduced the world to Nelly's unique musical style of pop-rap and radio “singalongs” with a Missouri twang. It was supported by four successful singles: "Country Grammar ", "E.I.", "Ride wit Me" and "Batter Up". Its lead single, "Country Grammar ", peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. Its second single "E.I." peaked at number 16 on the Hot 100, number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and number 11 on the ARIA Singles Chart. "Ride wit Me" peaked within the top five on the Hot 100, ARIA Singles Chart, Irish Singles Chart and UK Singles Chart. The album's fourth and final single, "Batter Up" featuring St. Lunatics members Murphy Lee and Ali, achieved moderate chart success.
Malo Ioane Luafutu, also called Jeshua Ioane Luafutu, and better known by his stage name Scribe, is a New Zealand rapper of Samoan descent. He achieved two solo number ones on the singles chart from his debut album, The Crusader, which was released in 2003 in New Zealand and later certified four times platinum. He also reached number one as a featured artist on P-Money's 2004 song "Stop the Music", and in 2010 on R&B singer J.Williams' single "You Got Me".

OMC, or Otara Millionaires Club, were a New Zealand music group, then duo, with vocalist Pauly Fuemana later becoming the sole member. The "International Breakthrough" accolade of the Pacific Music Awards was created in his honour. Savage also has applied his recognisable voice in the electronic dance music space with 5× platinum hit ''Freaks'' with Timmy Trumpet, and 4 times platinum hit ''Swing'' with Joel Fletcher.
