Magic Records Sp. z o.o., is a Polish record label founded in 1994 in Warsaw. Since 1998 label is a subsidiary of Universal Music Poland. [1] [2] Company CEO is Jan Kubicki. [3]

In 1990s label specialized in dance, techno and electronic music releasing albums by such artists as DJ'e TT, DR Marek, Exdance, I&I, MC Diva and Top One among others. In later years Magic Records expanded and has been releasing also pop artists such as Ewa Farna, Margaret and Honorata Skarbek among others. On various licences label released in Poland albums by such artists as Gordon Haskell, Andrea Corr, Vanilla Ninja, Volbeat, Alexander Rybak, Zaz, DJ BoBo and Basia among others. [4] [5] [6]

Andrzej Tomasz Piaseczny more commonly known as Piasek, is a Polish singer-songwriter, actor, and television personality. Former Mafia singer, Member of the Phonographic Academy of ZPAV. In the years 1997–2010 he performed in the TV series Złotopolscy, where he played the singer Kacper "Górniak" Złotopolski. His solo career began in 1998. In the same year he performed in a duet with Natalia Kukulska, with whom he recorded the song "You Are Near Me", and also released a solo single "I Know My Way", used in the soundtrack to the movie The Magic Sword – Camelot Legend. Piasek represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 with his up-tempo dance song "2 Long". Since 2008, the artist has collaborated with Seweryn Krajewski.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Closterkeller</span> Polish gothic rock band

Closterkeller is a Polish gothic rock band from Warsaw. It was formed in 1988 by Przemysław Guryń, Jacek Skirucha, and the vocalist Anja Orthodox. Despite many changes in the band's line-up it has created a characteristic sound. Orthodox is the only member of the original line-up, performing continuously for over 30 years. The band is called one of the forerunners of gothic and atmospheric rock in Poland. They are also influenced by other music styles such as new, cold wave, and heavy metal. Many other groups like Delight, Moonlight or Artrosis said they took inspiration from Closterkeller.

Quidam is a Polish progressive rock band, evolving from the hard rock/blues trio Deep River, a band formed by Maciek Meller, Radek Scholl and Rafał Jermakow. When Zbyszek Florek and Ewa Smarzyńska joined the band, the original Quidam line up was complete. In this line-up the debut album Quidam was recorded between September 1995 and March 1996. The album was produced with guest appearances of three Collage members: Wojtek Szadkowski, Mirek Gil and Krzysiek Palczewski.
