Starring Akshay Chandrashekhar, Sagar Puranik, Adhvithi Shetty [1] and Srinath, [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] It is the first Kannada-language short film to win National Film Award – Special Mention for a non-feature film.

<i>Nathicharami</i> 2018 Kannada film directed by Mansore

Nathicharami is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language film written by Sandhya Rani, directed by Manjunatha Somashekara Reddy (Mansore) and produced by M. Ramesh, under the banner Tejaswini Enterprises. Jaganmohan Reddy and Shivkumar Reddy are the other producers. The music of the film is scored by Bindhu Malini. The film stars Sruthi Hariharan and Sanchari Vijay with Sharanya, Poornachandra Mysore, Balaji Manohar and Gopal Deshpande in key roles. The sound design is done by Mahavir Sabbanavar and cinematography by Guruprasad Narnad. Manasa Mustafa has designed the costumes for the film.

Feluda: 50 Years of Ray's Detective is a Bengali documentary film directed and produced by Sagnik Chatterjee based on a fictional detective character created by Satyajit Ray This is the first biopic of India based on a fictional character. At first the film was premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival in 2017 and finally released on 7 June 2019. It received the award for Best Director in Non-Feature Film at the 66th National Film Awards in 2019.

Sagar Puranik is a National Award winning director and actor who predominantly works in Kannada film and Television industry. Sagar made his film debut with Ring Road Suma (2015), which is notable for, it was made by an all-women crew, the first in Kannada language.
