Datuk Seri Mahadi bin Che Ngah is a Malaysian retired civil servant who served as the 13th Mayor of Kuala Lumpur from October 2020 to his retirement in March 2023. [1]

His last office in the public service was Chief Secretary to the Government from 1 February 2001 to 2 September 2006. Shamsul Anuar bin Nasarah is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lenggong since March 2008. He served as the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to his resignation in August 2021. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) party in the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has also served as President of the Malaysian Youth Council. His appointment as a deputy minister in December 2023 is rare in Malaysian politics since he was a former federal minister in the Muhyiddin cabinet back in March 2020. This has rarely happened in the Malaysian politics. He is one of the three deputy ministers who were previously a federal minister alongside M. Kulasegaran and Noraini Ahmad.
Elyas bin Omar was the third Mayor of Kuala Lumpur,as well as the longest serving Mayor in the History of Kuala Lumpur. He served for a period of 12 years. Elyas was the president of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) and during his tenure,Malaysia won the Thomas Cup in 1992. In football,Elyas was president of Kuala Lumpur FA when it won the Malaysia Cup three times in a row from 1987 to 1989. On 17 November 1992,he was succeeded by Mazlan Ahmad as Mayor of Kuala Lumpur.
