Datuk Seri Kamarulzaman bin Mat Salleh is a Malaysian civil servant who served as the 14th Mayor of Kuala Lumpur from April 2023 to August 2024. He was the executive director (Project Management) of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) prior to his promotion to the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur. He has worked with DBKL since 1991. [1] [2]
The Kuala Lumpur City Hall is the city council which administers the city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. This council was established after the city was officially granted city status on 1 February 1972. Their jurisdiction covers an area of 243 square kilometres.
