Mahendra Ram Singh YadavKhatora (born 1969) [2] [3] is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh. He is currently the MLA from Kolaras Assembly constituency representing Bharatiya Janata Party. [4] [5] [6]

Early life and education

Yadav is from Kolaras, Shivpuri District, Madhya Pradesh. He married Rajkumari Yadav and they has two sons, Lokendra Yadav and Jay Yadav, and two daughters, Neha Yadav And Megha Yadav. His father Ram Singh Yadav was a farmer and former MLA. He completed his Class 12 at I.T.B.P. School, Shivpuri in 1988 and passed the examination conducted by Senior Central Secondary Education Board. [2]

Career

Yadav was first elected in the 2018 bypolls, after the death of his father Ram Singh Yadav [7] [8] [9] after he shifted to Bharatiya Janata Party [10] along with Jyotiraditya Scindia. [11] He retained the seat winning the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Kolaras Assembly constituency representing the BJP. [12]

Chaudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi is an Indian politician of the Indian National Congress party from Madhya Pradesh. Hailing from the Chambal region, he has been a four-time Member of Legislative Assembly of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Bhind constituency since 1990. Previously, he had served the 13th Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly as the deputy leader of the opposition and as the leader of the opposition. Prior to that, he was a minister in Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh's cabinet between 1998 and 2003.

Krishna Pal Singh Yadav is an Indian politician and a former Member of Parliament from Madhya Pradesh's Guna constituency in the 17th Lok Sabha. He defeated INC candidate Jyotiraditya M. Scindia during the 2019 Indian general elections. Yadav had even worked as Scindia's representative as MP before he parted ways with him ahead of the 2018 MP assembly polls due to a dispute about him being denied ticket from the Mungaoli constituency.

Krishna Gaur is an Indian politician serving as a Minister of State in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from December 2023. Elected from Govindpura constituency in the 2018 and 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, Gaur is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. She defeated her nearest rival, Girish Sharma of Indian National Congress by 46,359 votes. She is the first woman ever to be elected as an MLA from Bhopal. She was also the mayor of Bhopal and the chairperson of the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Corporation.

In March 2020, a political crisis took place in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India, due to the resignation of 22 sitting MLAs of the Indian National Congress party from the state's Legislative Assembly. It eventually led to the fall of the Kamal Nath government and the subsequent formation of the fourth Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh.

Preetam Lodhi is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh, India. He is an MLA of Bharatiya Janata Party from Pichhore Assembly constituency of Shivpuri district. He won the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. He received a total of 121,228 votes and won with the margin of 21,882 votes by defeating 6-time MLA K.P. Singh Kakkaju. BJP made Pritam its candidate for the third time. In 2013 and 2018 also, BJP fielded him against Congress's KP Singh and Pritam lost both elections by less margin.
