Mahmoud Alam (born in British India) is a former tennis player from Pakistan, who represented the country in the Davis Cup and also played at Wimbledon.
He is the first Pakistani to reach the second round in 1948 at Wimbledon during the pre-open era. He was one of two Pakistanis at the tournament.

Alam represented Pakistan in 2 ties in 1948 against Switzerland and in 1950 against Philippines. [1] He overall record was 0–6. [2]
His father, Mehboob Alam, was a captain of Aligarh's hockey team from 1914 - 1918. [3] His daughter, Sheherezade Alam is a celebrated ceramist and son-in-law, Zahoor ul Akhlaq was a painter. He also has two sons, Asad and Shaban.

Zahoor ul Akhlaq was a pioneering artist from Pakistan. He is known for his approach to painting, sculpture, design and architecture, as well as his teaching at the NCA in Lahore.
Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi is a Pakistani professional tennis player. He is currently Pakistan's top player. A top-10 doubles player, his highest singles ranking was no. 125. He is the only Pakistani tennis player to reach the final of a Grand Slam, which he did in 2010, competing in both mixed doubles and men's doubles at the US Open.
Jonathan Marray is a former British tennis player and a Wimbledon Men's Doubles champion. Marray is a former top 20 doubles player, reaching a career high of world no. 15 in January 2013, mainly due to more regular appearances on the ATP World Tour, following his victory at Wimbledon 2012. He has also competed on the singles tour, reaching world no. 215 in April 2005, but was unable to continue his singles career, in part due to injuries.
Rohan Bopanna is an Indian professional tennis player. His singles career-high ranking was world No. 213 in 2007 and his career-high ranking in doubles was world No. 3 on 22 July 2013. Viktor Troicki is a Serbian former professional tennis player. He won his first ATP singles title at the 2010 Kremlin Cup, and his second and third ATP singles titles at the 2015 and 2016 Apia International Sydney. His biggest achievements were a career-high singles ranking of world No. 12 and winning the deciding rubber in Serbia's Davis Cup final against France in 2010. Since then, in every Davis Cup he attended, he contributed to Serbia reaching a quarterfinal or better. Grega Žemlja is a retired Slovenian tennis player. He has won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour. He is also the first Slovenian ATP player who in 2013 reached third round at Wimbledon. He reached his highest ATP ranking of World No. 43 in singles in May 2013, becoming the first Slovene ATP player to reach the top 50. Žemlja also became the first Slovene player earning over 1 million US dollars in prize money, and he was the highest-paid Slovene player in history until he was passed by Blaž Kavčič. He represented his country as a member of Slovenia Davis Cup team.
Frederik Løchte Nielsen is a professional tennis player. He is currently the top ranked player from Denmark in ATP doubles world rankings. A former Wimbledon men's doubles champion, he peaked at no. 17 in the rankings in April 2013. Nielsen has reached five other doubles finals on tour, winning on two occasions.
