Fernando Atzori is a retired Italian flyweight boxer who won an Olympic gold medal in 1964. In the final, he defeated Artur Olech of Poland despite suffering an eye injury. After the Olympics he turned professional and won a European title in 1967. Atzori defended it nine times before losing it in 1972. He then regained it and lost again in 1973. Atzori retired from the ring in 1975.
Gyula Török was an amateur Hungarian boxer. Competing in the flyweight division he won the national title in 1957–58, a silver medal at the 1959 European Championships, and a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics. After that he moved to bantamweight and won three more national titles in 1961, 1962 and 1964. He lost to Primo Zamparini in a quarter-final of the 1961 European Championships, and to Oleg Grigoryev in his first bout at the 1964 Olympics. Török retired from competitions in 1966 and for 40 years worked at the Kispest Granite Factory. In parallel he coached boxers at Építők SC in 1976–78 and at Csepel SC in 1978–81. In the 1990 he also worked for the national boxing team and the Hungarian Boxing Federation. Török was Jewish.
René Jules Libeer was a French flyweight boxer. Competing as an amateur he won bronze medals at the 1956 Summer Olympics and 1957 European Championships. Next year he turned professional and in 1965 won the vacant European title against Paul Chervet. After defending it three times he lost it in 1967 to Fernando Atzori. Their rematch the same year ended in a draw, after which Libeer retired from boxing.
Artur Olech was a Polish boxer. He was born in Lviv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union and died in Wroclaw, Poland.
