The Iranian plateau or Persian plateau is a geological feature spanning parts of West Asia, Central Asia, and South Asia. It makes up part of the Eurasian Plate, and is wedged between the Arabian Plate and the Indian Plate. The Jebal Barez is a mountain chain in the Kerman Province of Iran. This mountain range stretches for some 100 km north-west to south-east, parallel to the Halil Rud, to the north-east of Jiroft and to the south-west of Bam, rising to a maximum elevation of 3,750 m. The mountains of this range are continued by other mountains such as Mount Shahsavaran and Mount Hudian to the south-east. They separate the plain of Hamun-e Jaz Murian from that of Namakzar-e Shahdad and Lut desert.

Ferdows Hot Spring or Ferdows Warm Spring is a hot mineral spring located about 20 km (12 mi) north of Ferdows in eastern Iran, near an inactive volcano. Its mineral water is useful in healing skin diseases and rheumatism.

The Mausoleum of Attar of Nishapur is located in Nishapur in northeastern Iran. It's located near the Mausoleum of Omar Khayyám. The structure is octagonal in shape with a tile worked onion shaped dome. It has 4 entrances, the northern one is the main entrance. The structure is adorned with colored tiles and carvings. The interior site is covered by plaster and has four seats. The Mausoleum is located in a garden covering an area of about 119 sq. m. The grave of the well known painter Kamal-ol-molk is also situated in a part of this garden. This mausoleum was initially built by the order of Ali-Shir Nava'i during the reign of the Tmurid dynasty in Persia.

Ghal'eh Kuh of Ferdows is a ruined fortress on top of Kuh-e Ghal'eh, located south of Ferdows (Tun) in South Khorasan Province, Iran. The fortress was famously used by the Nizari Ismailis of the Alamut period, and was the biggest Nizari stronghold in the Quhistan region, according to the Tarikh-i Jahangushay.
