Malcolm Besley is an Australian record producer, songwriter and mix engineer. He is known for his work with Northeast Party House, Slowly Slowly, Client Liaison and Shouse.
Malcolm learned piano from a young age and briefly sang for the Australian Boys Choir before quitting music all together, until his late teens where frustrated with the high school orchestral system he formed various punk and metal bands with school friends. After finishing High School Malcolm went on to study for cinema and media in an arts degree at La Trobe University, he dropped out mid second year and went on to earn an advanced diploma of Music Production at Box Hill TAFE. Malcolm began working as the in-house assistant at The Base Studios South Melbourne under the producer Forrester Savell

The Mungabeans were a Brisbane, Australia indie rock band. They formed in 1984, broke up in 1992. Evan Clarry, now a feature filmmaker, was rhythm guitarist and occasional vocalist from 1984 to 1987. Raymond Charles Argall is best known as a cinematographer and director for both film and television. He has also worked as an editor. His multi-award-winning feature film Return Home (1990) is regarded by many critics as an Australian cinema classic. Argall served on the board of the Australian Directors Guild (ADG) for sixteen years, holding the position of president from 2006 to 2015 and secretary from 2015 to 2017. Northeast Party House is an Australian electronic band formed in Melbourne in 2009. The band's six members are Jack Shoe (guitar), Malcolm Besley (drums), Sean Kenihan (synth), Zach Hamilton-Reeves (vocals), Mitch Ansell (guitar) and Oliver Packard (bass).
