Malice: The Webseries is a horror sci-fi web series created by Eagle Films. [1] The series chronicles the Turner family after they move into their late grandmother's home. When paranormal events begin to occur, it is up to the family's youngest member, teenage Alice, to save the day. The series' protagonist shares the name of and is inspired by Alice, from Lewis Carroll's novel Alice in Wonderland. Malice: The Webseries was compiled into a feature film which debuted on Hulu September 24, 2014. [2]

Malice: Metamorphosis consists of seasons three and four of the webseries. Metamorphosis occurs one year after the events of the second season. As Alice tries to piece her life back together, she is troubled by dreams of an epic medieval battle and the armored specter of her dead father. Totaling twelve additional episodes, the finale of Metamorphosis was released March 22, 2015.

History

Malice: The Webseries began filming in the summer of 2011. The second season was completed February 2013 . [3] During the summer of 2012, Malice raised $10,170 out of a goal of $8,000 on Kickstarter to finance Season 2. [4]

Malice: Metamorphosis was funded by another successful Kickstarter, which raised $12,195. [5]

Laurent Touil-Tartour American film director

Laurent Touil-Tartour is a French film director, screenwriter, producer. He is known for writing, directing and producing the web series Urban Wolf (2010). His works have been described by the American Film Institute, Wired Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and others as "original and visionary". In 2010 Touil-Tartour licensed the worldwide distribution rights of Urban Wolf to Sony Pictures Entertainment. In 2011 Touil-Tartour has signed with film director/producer Michael Bay's production company The Institute to direct feature films, commercials, video games, web content and/or TV shows.

The Hunted is an American action comedy web series created by Robert Chapin. The show follows a group of people who have been bitten by vampires but have not yet been turned, and their attempts to prove the existence of vampires through the web series. The show has been described as a sword-slinging, vampire-slaying cross between the American TV shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Cops. Episodes have been filmed by amateur and professional filmmakers throughout the United States and overseas.

EastSiders is an American dark comedy web series created by Kit Williamson. It premiered on YouTube on December 14, 2012, and began streaming through Logo TV's website on April 23, 2013. Set in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, the series follows couple Thom and Cal (Williamson) as they struggle with infidelity and substance abuse. Chop Socky Boom is a comedy web series created by Darlene Sellers and Heath Ward and filmed in Seattle, Washington. The series is broadcast on the internet and premiered on May 1, 2012. Season one includes eight episodes, with season two currently under development. Chop Socky Boom follows the adventures of misfit indie film actors cast in the fictional kung fu film, “Final Zodiac Warrior.” CSB focuses on main character Khanh and her friends, Scottie, Paige, Daisy and Max, as they audition for a poorly run chop socky series created by Trick, an Ed Wood like Director with his own unique vision.
