Malina Debnath (born 1976) [1] is an Indian politician from Tripura. [2] She was a Member of Tripura Legislative Assembly from Jubarajnagar Assembly constituency in North Tripura district. [3]
Debnath earned a Master of Arts in Bengali from Tripura University in 2001. [1]
Debnath won the 2022 Tripura byelection representing Bharatiya Janata Party from Jubarajnagar Assembly constituency by a margin of 4,572 votes. [4] She took oath on 28 June 2022. [5] However,she lost the 2023 Tripura Legislative Assembly election on BJP ticket to Sailendra Chandra Nath of CPI (M) by a narrow margin 296 votes. [2]
