Mallepally Laxmaiah is Indian Telugu language journalist. [1] [2] He worked with Vaartha and Andhra Jyothi newspaper before quitting in 2009 to participate in Telangana movement and also was one of the creators of HMTV television Telugu news channel. [3]
Mallepally Laxmaiah worked with major newspapers. He has been an adviser to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi since its inception. He is also the Co-Chairman of the Joint Action Committee on Telangana which is spearheading the non-political movement. He is The Chairperson for Center for Dalit Studies. [4] Mallepally Laxmaiah, who took an active part in the separate Telangana movement, was appointed as special officer for Buddhavanam Project at Nagarjuna Sagar in Nalgonda district in 2016 by then Chief Minister of Telangana K. Madiga is a Telugu caste from southern India. They mainly live in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka, with a small minority in Tamil Nadu. Madigas are historically associated with the work of tannery, leatherwork and small handicrafts. Today, most are agricultural labourers. Kapu is a Hindu caste primarily found in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Kapus are classified as a Forward caste, and are a community of land-owning agriculturists. Pendyala Varavara Rao is an Indian activist, poet, teacher, and writer from Telangana, India. He is an accused in the 2018 Bhima Koregaon violence and has been arrested under the non-bailable Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Vuppaladadiyam Nagayya Sarma, popularly known as Chittoor Nagayya, was an Indian actor, singer, music composer, and director known for his works in Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, and Telugu theatre. Nagayya was one of the first multilingual filmmakers in India. Indian film journalist Baburao Patel described Nagayya as "The Paul Muni of India". Nagayya was considered the best character actor in South Indian cinema during 1940s and 1950s. In 1965, he became the first South Indian actor to receive the Padma Shri in Arts from the Government of India for his contributions to Indian cinema.
Kadiyam Srihari is an Indian politician is currently the MLA from the Ghanpur Station Assembly constituency. He also served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana and Minister for Education of Telangana from 2014 to 2018. He was also an MLC in the Telangana Legislative Council. He was a member of the Lok Sabha, representing the Warangal constituency from 2014-2015.

Gorati Venkataiah, better known as Goreti Venkanna, is an Indian poet and singer known for his works in Telugu literature. He became popular after his song "Palle Kanneru Peduthundo" in the film Kubusam. He also acted as a judge for the folk song program Rela Re Rela on Star Maa. In November 2020, Goreti was nominated as a Member of Legislative Council (MLC) in Telangana. In 2021, he won the Sahitya Akademi Award in poetry category for his work Vallanki Taalam.
Jai Bolo Telangana is a 2011 Telugu-language historical drama film based on the Telangana Movement, produced & directed by N.Shankar on Mahalakshmi Arts banner and Cinematography by T. Surendra Reddy. Starring Jagapathi Babu, Smriti Irani, Meera Nandan, Sandeep Singh and music composed by Chakri. Beginning with the 1948 movement against the annexing of Seemandhra region with Hyderabad into state of andhra pradesh, and the circumstances that arose since then, the movie covered the significant events until the tumultuous days at Osmania University in 2009. With the police beating up many peaceful Telangana agitators and Telangana people committing suicide for the formation of a separate Telangana state- all real life incidents. It also shows how politicians from seemandhra region have manipulated and bribed the media often.
