Chinese boy band and the fourth overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, WayV, has released one studio albums, one reissue, three extended plays (EP), one single album, and nine singles with SM Entertainment's Chinese sub-label, Label V. WayV debuted in 2019 with the single album The Vision, with a Chinese version of NCT 127's "Regular" as the lead single. In the same year, the group entered the Billboard World Albums chart for the first time with their first EP, Take Off. Their second EP, Take Over the Moon, was released on October 29, 2019, and debuted in the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. In 2020, WayV's first studio album, Awaken the World, managed to enter the top ten on both Gaon and Billboard World Albums chart as well as became the group's first entry on the Japanese Oricon and Billboard Japan charts. <i>SKZ2020</i> 2020 compilation album by Stray Kids

SKZ2020 is the first compilation album by South Korean boy band Stray Kids. It was released on March 18, 2020, through Epic Records Japan, and JYP Entertainment, as the group's Japanese debut release. This consists of twenty-seven tracks that the group had released previously, but re-recorded versions consisting of their current lineup, following the departure of Woojin from the group in late October 2019.

Japanese boy band JO1 has released two studio albums, one video album, seven singles, twenty promotional singles, and eleven music videos with Lapone Entertainment. Formed through reality competition show Produce 101 Japan, JO1 debuted in 2020 with single Protostar and Japan Hot 100 number-one song "Infinity". The single made the group the seventh Japanese artist who managed to sell over 300,000 copies in the first week with a debut single. It was followed by single Stranger and its lead track "Oh-Eh-Oh", both peaked atop Oricon Singles Chart and Japan Hot 100, respectively. The group's first studio album The Star (2020) reached number two on the Japan Hot Albums chart.

Ayase, a member of the duo, also released the cover version of The Book, on the same day as the EP, titled Mikunoyoasobi, recorded by Hatsune Miku, exclusively at Tower Records Japan.

The Book 2 is the second Japanese-language extended play and third overall by Japanese duo Yoasobi. It was released on December 1, 2021, through Sony Music Entertainment Japan, eleven months after their debut EP The Book (2021). It consists of eight tracks, preceded by their all singles released in 2021, and included the new song "Moshi mo Inochi ga Egaketara".

Dream is the twelfth studio album by Japanese-American singer-songwriter Ai, released on February 23, 2022, by EMI Records. Ai collaborated with various Japanese and American producers, including longtime collaborator Uta and Bernard "Harv" Harvey, the latter produced her 2021 extended play, It's All Me, Vol. 2.
