Mamoon Moosa Khan (born 28 November 2000) is a Pakistani professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for POPO FC which he captains, and the Pakistan national team. [1]

Club career

POPO FC

Khan started his career at Islamabad club POPO FC, having previously played for the team's youth academy. [1]

Pakistan Air Force

Khan was subsequently called by Pakistan Premier League departmental side Pakistan Air Force in 2021. He made 2 appearances in the 2021–22 season until the league was cancelled shortly after starting. [1]

Return to POPO FC

Khan returned to POPO FC in 2023. [2]

International career

Khan was first selected as vice-captain of the Pakistan under 19 team for the 2020 AFC U-19 Championship qualification. [3] Khan received his first senior international call-up for a friendly against Nepal on 16 November 2022. [4] He went on to make his debut in the eventual 0–1 defeat. [5] [1] He was subsequently called for the 2023 Mauritius Four Nations Cup and the 2023 SAFF Championship in India. [6] [7] [8] [9] In October 2023 he represented Pakistan U23 in AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers. [10]
