Manhar Udhas is a Hindi and Gujarati language singer and Bollywood playback singer.
Manhar Udhas is the eldest son of Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas, and the elder brother of the singer Pankaj Udhas, who died on 26 February in 2024 [1] [2] [3] and Nirmal Udhas. He completed his mechanical engineering training in Gujarat and moved to Mumbai in the late 1960s to look for a job.
With a lifelong passion for music, Manhar found an entry into the industry through his brother-in-law, a filmmaker in Mumbai, who introduced him to Music Directors Kalyanji Anandji. Manhar often assisted the duo in song recording. When the singer Mukesh was not immediately available, it was decided to dub the song in the voice of Udhas and later on Mukesh would sing over it. The song was 'aap se hum ko bichchade huye ek zamana beet gaya' for 1969 film Vishwas. When Mukesh heard the song he said that Udhas has sung the song perfectly and there was no need to record the song in his voice. The song became a hit. It proved to be turning point in his career. Manhar has worked with many composers of the film world and has lent his voice to many Bollywood actors. He has sung for more than 300 films in different languages, including Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali and many others. He, like his younger brother Pankaj, is well known for singing Ghazals. He has released over 30 albums (last one, "Aashirwad", launched in Australia November 2013). He has also worked with Pankaj on albums and Live Shows. His 31st album Alankar was released at VadFest on 18 January 2015 at Vadodara. His latest album "Aakarshan" was launched on 5 May 2018 in Anand, Gujarat. He also sang for film, Kagaz Ki Nau (1978).

Mehdi Hassan Khan known as Mehdi Hassan was a Pakistani ghazal singer and playback singer. Widely considered one of the greatest and most influential figures in the history of ghazal singing, Hassan is referred to as the "Shahenshah-e-Ghazal". Known for his "haunting" baritone voice, Hassan is credited with bringing ghazal singing to a worldwide audience. He is unique for his melodic patterns and maintaining integrity of the ragas in an innovative way.
Mukesh Chand Mathur, better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Pankaj Udhas was an Indian ghazal and playback singer known for his works in Hindi cinema, and Indian pop. He started his career with the release of a ghazal album titled Aahat in 1980 and subsequently recorded many hits like Mukarar in 1981, Tarrannum in 1982, Mehfil in 1983, Pankaj Udhas Live at Royal Albert Hall in 1984, Nayaab in 1985 and Aafreen in 1986. After his success as a ghazal singer, he was invited to appear and sing for a film by Mahesh Bhatt, Naam, in which his song "Chitthi Aayee Hai" became an instant hit. He did playback singing for many Hindi films after that. Albums and live concerts around the globe brought him fame as a singer. In 2006, Pankaj Udhas was awarded Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award. His brothers Nirmal Udhas and Manhar Udhas are also singers.

Amit Kumar is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman's death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows. In addition to singing in Hindi, has also performed in Bengali, Bhojpuri, Odia, Assamese, Marathi and Konkani. He is the eldest son of singer-actor Kishore Kumar.
