Nair was a musician, writer and journalist. He had worked for various news portals such as The Indian Express, The Asian Age, The Economic Times, Outlook Magazine, Hindustan Times. He had worked with The Economic Times from August 2004 to January 2012. He was an event editor of Kochi Muziris Biennale. [3] [4]

Death

At the age of 49, he was found dead at his residence in Fort Kochi. [5]

It is one of the two major political alliances in Kerala, the other being CPI(M)-led LDF, each of which has been in power alternately for the last four decades. UDF has won elections to the State Legislature of Kerala in the years 1982, 1991, 2001, and 2011. its predecessor United Front (1970–79) had won two consecutive terms for first time in the political history of Kerala, by gaining the elections of 1970 and 1977. The alliance currently acts as the opposition in the state legislature of Kerala post-May 2016 election.

M. V. Devan Indian sculptor, (1928 – 2014)

Madathil Vasudevan, popularly identified as M. V. Devan, was an Indian painter, sculptor, writer, art critic and orator. Besides his artistic works, he was also known for his architectural designs for a number cultural institutions as well as for his contributions in founding Kerala Kalapeetom, Kochi-based cultural organization, Malayala Kalagramam, an art village in New Mahe and Kalagramam, another art village in Kollam. A former chairman of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, he was a recipient of several honours including the Raja Ravi Varma Puraskaram of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, the Vayalar Award and the Mathrubhumi Literary Award.

Traffic is a 2011 Indian Malayalam-language Road Film written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay and directed by Rajesh Pillai. The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Sreenivasan, Kunchacko Boban, Rahman, Anoop Menon, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sandhya, Roma, Remya Nambeesan, Asif Ali and Namitha Pramod. The film has its narrative in a hyperlink format. The film opened on 7 January 2011, to a positive reception. It is widely regarded as one of the defining movies of the Malayalam New Wave. A multi-narrative thriller that intertwines multiple stories around one particular incident, Traffic is inspired from an actual event that happened in Chennai. Owing to its critical and commercial success, Traffic was remade into Tamil as Chennaiyil Oru Naal, in Kannada as Crazy Star and is also remade in Hindi, with the same name. This was also the last film of the veteran actor Jose Prakash. The film has a cult status.

Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea is an Indian period drama action film directed by Priyadarshan. Set in the 16th century Calicut, the film is based on the fourth Kunjali Marakkar named Muhammad Ali, the admiral of the fleet of the Zamorin. Priyadarshan scripted the film with Ani Sasi. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas. Marakkar features an ensemble cast with Mohanlal in the title role and Pranav Mohanlal play Mohanlal's young role, alongside Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Nedumudi Venu, Siddique and Mukesh in supporting roles. The Family Man is an Indian spy thriller streaming television series created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. for the streaming service Amazon Prime Video and features Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictitious branch of the National Investigation Agency. It also stars Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja and Shreya Dhanwanthary. The series is produced and directed by Raj & D.K, who also co-wrote the story and screenplay with Suman Kumar, with dialogue penned by Sumit Arora and Kumar. Samantha Akkineni was hired for the second season of the series as the main antagonist, making her foray into the digital medium with Suparn S. Verma directing a section of the season.

Venu Rajamony is an Indian diplomat who belongs to the Indian Foreign Service. On September 17, 2021, he has assumed the post of Officer on Special Duty, External Cooperation in the State Government of Kerala.
