Mantras is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Katie Pruitt. It was released on April 5, 2024, through Rounder Records and follows her debut studio album Expectations (2020).
Mantras was recorded at The Shed in Nashville, Tennessee, and features production by Jake Finch and Collin Pastore. It stands as her most personal work to date [1] and describes the "full circle journey from self-sabotage to self-compassion", according to Pruitt. [2] Writing the record forced the singer to stop looking for "external validation" and instead turn her focus inward. [3]
The lead single "Blood Related" was released on November 17, 2023, and showcases Pruitt's signature introspective songwriting about the exploration of complex relationships. [1] The song was followed-up by "White Lies, White Jesus and You" on January 11, 2024, a protest song that deals with the "shedding" of "any remaining shame" caused by the church. [4] On February 22, she shared the song "All My Friends" which was inspired by a Christian Wiman poem and deals with the "evolution of beliefs" as well as the journey of self-discovery. [5] "Worst Case Scenario", a "personal manifesto" of acknowledging one's fears without giving them power, was released as the fourth single on March 14. [6]

Laura Branigan is the sixth studio album by American singer Laura Branigan, released on March 21, 1990, by Atlantic Records. The album's lead single, "Moonlight on Water", reached number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the second single, "Never in a Million Years", peaked at number 22 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. Home for Christmas is the thirtieth solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. It was released on September 11, 1990, by Columbia Records. The album was produced by Gary Smith, with Parton serving as executive producer. It is Parton's second Christmas album, following 1984's Once Upon a Christmas with Kenny Rogers. Unlike Once Upon a Christmas, which featured a number of original songs, Home for Christmas is made up of ten Christmas standards. Christmas Duets is a 2008 album released by RCA Records, consisting of archival Elvis Presley vocal recordings mixed with completely re-recorded instrumentation and new vocals by contemporary country and gospel singers. Three tracks on the album do not have duet vocals: "The First Noel", "If I Get Home On Christmas Day", and "Winter Wonderland". However, the instrumental tracks for these songs were re-recorded by contemporary musicians, just like on all other songs.
