Marc Christopher Rosenberg (born 10 February 1982 in Johannesburg,South Africa) is a South African cricketer who played first-class cricket for Leicestershire. [1]
Rosenberg has also played first-class games for Loughborough UCCE,for North West in South Africa,and,in 2009,for the Cambridge University Centre of Cricketing Excellence. He graduated from Loughborough University in 2004.
Rosenberg was a talented all rounder who never fulfilled his full potential. He was talked about in many circles as an up-and-coming leader on the County circuit with some promising performances showing glimpses of his raw talent.
Post his professional career Rosenberg completed his Post Graduate Studies at Cambridge University where he played for the Blues in Golf,Rugby and Cricket. His man of the match performance in The Blues Match at Lords was a fitting last hurrah in his short career.

Martin Bladen Hawke,7th Baron Hawke,generally known as Lord Hawke,was an English amateur cricketer active from 1881 to 1911 who played for Yorkshire and England. He was born in Willingham by Stow,near Gainsborough,Lincolnshire,and died in Edinburgh. He appeared in 633 first-class matches,including five Test matches,as a righthanded batsman,scoring 16,749 runs with a highest score of 166 and held 209 catches. He scored 13 centuries and 69 half-centuries.
Norman Walter Dransfield Yardley was an English cricketer who played for Cambridge University,Yorkshire County Cricket Club and England,as a right-handed batsman and occasional bowler. An amateur,he captained Yorkshire from 1948 to 1955 and England on fourteen occasions between 1947 and 1950,winning four Tests,losing seven and drawing three. Yardley was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1948,and in his obituary in Wisden Cricketers' Almanack he was described as Yorkshire's finest amateur since Stanley Jackson.
Matthew James Hoggard,is a former English cricketer,who played international cricket for England cricket team from 2000 to 2008,playing both Test cricket and One Day Internationals. The 6' 2" Hoggard was a right arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed batsman.

Norman Stewart "Mandy" Mitchell-Innes was an amateur cricketer for Somerset,who played in one Test match for England in 1935. Between 1931 and 1949 Mitchell-Innes played 132 first-class matches,appearing 69 times for Somerset,and 43 times for Oxford University. In these matches he scored 6,944 runs,including 13 centuries and a top score of 207. He was well-regarded for the grace of his batting,but his cricket career was limited by both hay fever and his overseas work commitments.

Gustavus William Francis Blake Kelly was an Irish cricketer. A right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler,he played 18 times for the Ireland cricket team between 1895 and 1914 including nine first-class matches. He also played first-class cricket for Oxford University and the MCC.
