Marco Martinelli (born 9 October 1965, in Rovereto, Trentino) is an Italian former volleyball player, who later became a volleyball coach. He earned a total number of 155 caps for the Men's National Team, and made his debut on 22 May 1987 in Montichiari against Poland.
Lorenzo Bernardi is an Italian professional volleyball coach and former player, a silver medallist at the Olympic Games Atlanta 1996, two–time World Champion, and a two–time European Champion.
Andrea Giani is an Italian professional volleyball coach and former player who scored numerous successes in the 1990s, including three World Championships with his national team. He was an all-rounder able to play both as an outside hitter and as a middle blocker, but he played several times as an opposite spiker too.

Peter Blangé is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands who represented his native country in four consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1988 in Seoul, South Korea. Four years later, he helped the Dutch national team win the silver medal in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Blangé then won the gold medal with the national team in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta by defeating Italy in the final. His final Olympic appearance as an athlete was in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. He was a setter.
Julio Velasco is an Argentine former professional volleyball player and coach. He's had Italian citizenship obtained in 1992. Velasco was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2005. Velasco currently serves as a sports director for the Italian Volleyball Federation.

At 1.84 m (6 ft) tall, she played as a middle blocker before transitioning to an outside hitter later in her career.
