Vantaa is a city and municipality in Finland. It is part of the inner core of the Finnish Capital Region along with Helsinki, Espoo, and Kauniainen. With a population of 243,496, Vantaa is the fourth most populated city in Finland after Helsinki, Espoo and Tampere. Its administrative center is the Tikkurila district. Vantaa is bordered by Helsinki, the Finnish capital, to the south; Espoo to the southwest; Nurmijärvi to the northwest; Kerava and Tuusula to the north; and Sipoo to the east. The city encompasses 240.35 square kilometres (92.80 sq mi), of which 1.97 km2 (0.76 sq mi) is water.
Southern Finland was a province of Finland from 1997 to 2009. It bordered the provinces of Western Finland and Eastern Finland. It also bordered the Gulf of Finland and Russia.

Uusimaa is a region of Finland. It borders the regions of Southwest Finland, Tavastia Proper (Kanta-Häme), Päijänne Tavastia (Päijät-Häme), and Kymenlaakso. Finland's capital and largest city, Helsinki, along with the surrounding Greater Helsinki area, are both contained in the region, and Uusimaa is Finland's most populous region. Koivusaari is an island and a part of the district of Lauttasaari in Helsinki, Finland. The island hosts two yacht clubs and a former Nokia training centre. The current island of Koivusaari has been formed by combining the island of Koivusaari proper with the island of Leppäsaari to the south of it and expanding it. Since the late 1990s and early 2000s there have been plans to construct a new residential area on reclaimed land in Koivusaari, served by the Koivusaari metro station.

For the Poor is a Finnish political party, not situated anywhere on the traditional political map. It was founded in November 2002. The party is one of the smallest in Finland, as it has no seats in either the Parliament of Finland or the European Parliament, and has only ever held one municipal council seat in the city council of Espoo (2008–2012).

The Stadin Derby, or The Helsinki Derby, is the name for a Helsinki association football fixture played between HIFK Fotboll and HJK Helsinki. The name of the derby derives from the common slang word nickname for Helsinki (Stadi), widely used by the locals. Both the teams play at the highest level of football in Finland, in Veikkausliiga. Before 2015, the clubs had not faced each other at the highest level since 1972 when HIFK got relegated from the top league, which was then known as Mestaruussarja.
Jan Erola ) is a Finnish communications entrepreneur and former journalist and publisher. He is the part-time Head of Public Affairs of the Finnish Startup Community, and is also the CEO of his own Kravat Oy, a communications consultancy company. Kravat has designed and published a professional networking tool software application HookedOn. Erola formerly worked as an associate director for Kreab, a multinational communications agency, for both the London and Helsinki offices. For several years, Erola was involved with the Sport and Healthtech startup event SMASH, e.g. by hosting the SMASH LONDON event in 2018.

The Töölö Hospital is a hospital in Taka-Töölö, Helsinki, Finland, belonging to the Helsinki University Central Hospital. It has special departments for plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery and traumatology, hand surgery and neurosurgery. The hospital has a 24-hour policlinic receiving trauma patients from the Helsinki capital area and occasionally from the entire region of Southern Finland. Patients usually arrive at the policlinic on a medical note. The policlinic treats about 18 thousand patients per year. The hospital also hosts the cleft lip and cleft palate centre HUSUKE, containing research and care for cleft lips and cleft palates as well as the department for care of mouth and jaw diseases. The Töölö Hospital also has its own X-ray facility and laboratory.
World peace is a bronze sculpture donated by the city of Moscow, Russia to the city of Helsinki, Finland, created by sculptor Oleg Kiryuhin. The sculpture was located at Hakaniemenranta in Helsinki, and it was revealed on 14 January 1990, two months after the Berlin Wall had been broken. The sculpture belongs to the collection of the Helsinki Art Museum. The sculpture was moved to storage on 8 August 2022.
Sanomala is a printing press of the Sanoma newspaper company located in the district of Martinlaakso in Vantaa, Finland. The press is used to print Helsingin Sanomat, Ilta-Sanomat, Hufvudstadsbladet and other newspapers of the company. Helsingin Sanomat alone forms over two thirds of the total printing volume. The press also prints minute amounts of newspapers from different companies. The surface area of the Sanomala press is 5.4 hectares. As well as the Sanoma newspaper company, the building also hosts premises for other companies in the graphics industry.
The Helsinki Surgical Hospital, often referred to as Kirurgi or simply Kirra, is a hospital located in Helsinki, Finland, in the district of Ullanlinna along the street Kasarmikatu near the Tähtitorninmäki park. The hospital was built in 1888 and represents neoclassical architecture typical of the late 19th century. The hospital is part of the Helsinki University Central Hospital.
Clarion Hotel Helsinki is a hotel in the Jätkäsaari district of Helsinki, Finland, opened on 17 October 2016. The building has 16 floors, is 78 metres (256 ft) tall and has 425 hotel rooms as well as 15 convention and event rooms. The top floor contains a health club, a sauna and a rooftop pool. The building was commissioned by the Norwegian building millionaire Arthur Burchardt. The hotel is managed by the Nordic hotel chain Nordic Choice Hotels and is the chain's first hotel in Finland. Nordic Choice Hotels is a franchising partner of the international Choice Hotels chain, owned by the Norwegian "hotel magnate" and environmental activist Petter Stordalen.
