Richard Ian CharlesworthAO is an Australian sports coach and former politician. He played first-class cricket for Western Australia and international field hockey for the Kookaburras, winning a silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics and winning the World Cup in 1986. Charlesworth served as a federal member of parliament from 1983 to 1993, representing the Labor Party. After leaving politics, he was appointed coach of the Hockeyroos, leading them to Olympic gold medals in 1996 and 2000. Charlesworth later coached the Kookaburras from 2009 to 2014, and has also worked in consulting roles with the New Zealand national cricket team, the Australian Institute of Sport, and the Fremantle Football Club.
Marsha Cox (née Marescia; born 13 January 1983 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal) is a field hockey player from South Africa, who was a member of the national squad that finished 9th at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. The midfielder comes from Durban, and is nicknamed Nator. She plays for the provincial team Southern Gauteng.
David Ian Bell, OAM is a retired field hockey player from Australia, who was part of the team that won the silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Brian Alan Glencross OAM was an Australian field hockey player and coach. As a member of the Australian National Men's Hockey Team, he won a bronze medal and a silver medal at consecutive Olympic Games – the bronze at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and the silver four years later, when Mexico City hosted the Games. Meredith Dawn Orr is a field hockey midfielder from New Zealand, who represented her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. There she finished in sixth place with the Women's National Team. Orr made her international senior debut for the Black Sticks in 2001 against Korea in Wellington.

He is widely regarded as one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

Madonna Blyth is an Australian field hockey player who competed in the 2008, 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. She also plays for and captains the Queensland Scorchers in the Australian Hockey League. Blyth has been the Captain of the Hockeyroos since 2009. Her debut game for Australia was in Argentina, as an 18-year-old at the 2004 Champions Trophy. She started playing hockey when she was 5, and joined the representative scene at 15, winning gold with her team at the 2001 Australian Youth Olympic Festival.
