Marianne Gravatte (born December 13, 1959, in Hollywood, California) is an American model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the October 1982 issue, then as the 1983 Playmate of the Year. Her original pictorial was photographed by Richard Fegley.

Career

After being noticed in Playboy magazine by Ratt band member Stephen Pearcy, Gravatte appeared in the video as Stephen Pearcy's girlfriend for the band's song "Lay It Down". [1] She was also featured on the front cover of the song's parent album, Invasion of Your Privacy , Ratt's second record, which was released in 1985.

She posed for Playboy again for the April 1994 "Playmate Revisited" feature. [2]

Personal life

Gravatte has now left modelling, and runs a sports bar with her husband, Mark E. Larsen. She is the mother of three sons. [2]

A Playmate is a female model featured in the centerfold/gatefold of Playboy magazine as Playmate of the Month (PMOTM). Invasion of Your Privacy is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Ratt. It was released in 1985 and featured the singles "Lay It Down", "You're in Love" and "What You Give Is What You Get". Beau Hill produced the album, and the cover model is Playboy model Marianne Gravatte, who also made an appearance in the "Lay It Down" music video. In 2015, Loudwire ranked the album as the 8th best metal album of 1985.

Lynda Ann Wiesmeier was an American model and actress. She made her film debut in American Pop. Wiesmeier was selected as both cover model and Playmate of the Month for the July 1982 issue of Playboy magazine, and her centerfold was photographed by Richard Fegley. Wiesmeier also appeared in several Playboy newsstand special editions and videos, and worked steadily for Playboy for more than five years after she graced the magazine's fold-out page, first as a nude glamour and pin-up model, and then as a promotional model and a feature reporter for the Playboy Channel.

Playboy Special Editions are a spin-off series of Playboy magazine containing glamour and softcore nude photographs. The initially infrequent and later semi-regular editions ran from 1963 through 2000 then re-branded from 2000 through 2012 final issues. A one-off special edition was published in February 2015 featuring images of models in different locations within California from the controversial photographer Terry Richardson.
