Her musical career, primarily focused on country music, included a large number of chart singles with four reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Her 1973 cover of "Paper Roses," released when she was 14, made her the youngest female act with a number-one country single. Between 1985 and 1986, she also had number-one country singles with "Meet Me in Montana," "There's No Stopping Your Heart,", and "You're Still New to Me." As a television personality, she has been a host of Donny & Marie and on The Talk. Her acting career includes appearances in television films and Broadway musicals; she has also written several books and helped found the Children's Miracle Network.

Martha, also known as The Martha Stewart Show, is an American cooking show hosted by Martha Stewart. The series premiered on September 12, 2005, in syndication until it was picked up by the Hallmark Channel in September 2010 as part of a larger deal that turned over most of the cable network's daytime schedule to shows from Stewart's production company, MSLO Productions. It followed her previous syndicated show Martha Stewart Living that ran from 1993–2004. Unlike the previous show, Martha was taped before a studio audience at the Chelsea Studios in New York City, New York. It was distributed by NBC Universal Television Distribution in partnership with MSLO Productions. The series' production company came to a consensus with Hallmark to end Martha due to the rising costs. The last episode was shot on April 24, 2012, with it airing on May 11, 2012.

Clarkson opens the program with "Kellyoke", a musical performance of a cover version of various songs requested by a member of her audience and ends with her participating in an activity with her guests. "Kellyoke" classic was introduced in the third season, where Clarkson performs her own songs that were not released as singles. Cameo-oke was introduced in sixth season, musical guests will perform at the beginning of the show.

Osmond made her debut screen appearance as a singer in the 1975 feature film Hugo the Hippo. In 1976, she and brother Donny co-hosted the television variety show Donny & Marie. The variety program lasted for three years. It was followed by her own variety show in 1980 called Marie, but it only lasted six episodes. Osmond followed it during the early 1980s with several television film roles. Among these was her portrayal of her own mother in the 1982 film Side by Side: The True Story of the Osmond Family.
