The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Morning Program had been awarded every year between 2007 and 2021. Beginning in 2020, the category name was changed from Outstanding Morning Program to Outstanding Morning Show. In December 2021, it was announced that this Daytime Emmy category will be retired and all morning shows will now be honored at the separate News & Documentary Emmy Awards.

Previously, court shows were grouped miscellaneously in the talk show category. In June 2021, The People's Court helmed by Marilyn Milian won its 4th Daytime Emmy Award, which gives it the most wins for the court show genre.

<i>Tumble Leaf</i> 2014 American animated childrens show

Tumble Leaf is an American animated series that premiered in 2014 on Amazon Prime Video. It is a stop motion animated series for preschool-aged children and is based on the short film Miro. Created by animator Drew Hodges and stop-motion studio Bix Pix Entertainment, Tumble Leaf features an anthropomorphic blue fox named Fig and his caterpillar friend Stick, along with other residents of the island of Tumble Leaf, helping preschoolers learn basic science lessons through playful examples. Additional regular characters include Maple, Hedge, Pine, Ginkgo, Rutabaga, Zucchini, and Butternut & Squash. Each episode consists of two 11-minute stories with Fig learning the mechanics of various items discovered in a special room on board the abandoned shipwreck where he resides.

The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment News Program is an award presented annually by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS). It is given to honor a television newsmagazine that covers "the entertainment industry with a focus on human interest, popular culture and celebrity gossip and interviews". Programs of this genre airing between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. are eligible to enter.

The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series was an award presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS).
