Minneapolis–Saint Paul is a metropolitan area in the Upper Midwestern United States centered around the confluence of the Mississippi, Minnesota and St. Croix rivers in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Tom Hanneman was an American play-by-play television announcer for the Minnesota Timberwolves basketball team of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and had been with the franchise since its inception in 1989 until he joined Fox Sports North in 2012. Prior to that, Hanneman was a sports and general assignment reporter for CBS affiliate WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During his time at WCCO, Hanneman drew national attention when he was held hostage while covering the 1979 Red Lake Indian Reservation uprising. His time as a Timberwolves commentator also led to him doing some national and international NBA broadcasts. Tom Hanneman died on December 18, 2020. He was 68 years old at the time of his death.

She has lived in Minnesota, but now resides near Chicago.
The Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards are Regional Emmy awards presented by the Chicago / Midwest chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). The chapter was founded in 1958, and serves the Chicago metropolitan area and the surrounding parts of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

He is a reporter, photographer, editor, and sometimes fill-in anchor.
