Marie Muracciole is a writer and curator based in Paris and Beirut. [1] [2]
Marie Muracciole studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. She shifted her visual art practice to writing in 1991.
Muracciole has held positions as head of the cultural department at Paris's Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume until 2011.
She taught in ESAD, Amiens, as a contemporary art professor until 1998, then as film theory professor at the École Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux until 2017.
She has been the director of the Beirut Art Center [3] from February 2014 to February 2019. [4]
She is now an External Visiting Lecturer and Tutor in Fine Art at the Malmö Art Academy, Sweden.
She is the curator of next biennial of Québec, February 2024.

Yto Barrada is a Franco-Moroccan multimedia visual artist living and working in Tangier, Morocco and New York City. Barrada cofounded the Cinémathèque de Tanger in 2006, leading a group of artists and filmmakers. Barrada also works as an artistic director for the Tangier art house movie theatre. She was previously a member of the Beirut-based Arab Image Foundation.

Cinémathèque de Tanger (CDT) is an art house movie theater in Tangier, Morocco. CDT was founded by artist Yto Barrada in 2006, and is located within the restored Art Deco Cinéma Rif building in the Casbah district. The head of CDT's programming is artist Sido Lansari. In order to accommodate the new film institution, Cinéma Rif, which is located on the Grand Socco was renovated by the French architect Jean-Marc Lalo. CDT is North Africa's first art house cinema and film archive.

Jean Degottex was a French abstract painter, known in particular for his initial proximity with the lyrical abstraction movement of the 1950s and 1960s. He is considered an important artist of the abstraction movement in the second half of the twentieth century and a significant inspiration for contemporary art. Degottex was particularly inspired by East Asian calligraphy and Zen philosophy in achieving the erasure of the creative subject.
École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Genève, was an art school founded in 1748 in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2006, the school was merged with the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD).
