Marisa Petroro (born 1972), is an American actress and model known for her roles as a model on Deal or No Deal [1] and as Cristina Ford in Ford v Ferrari (2019). [2]
Marisa Petroro was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on February 11, 1972. [2] As a child, Petroro was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. [1] She later served as the national spokesperson for the Sarcoma Foundation of America from 2007 to 2010. [1] [2] [3]
Petroro attended Rutgers University and Kean University. She was crowned Miss Italia USA in 1996. [4]
Petroro appeared on several other popular television shows during the 2000s and 2010s, including Scrubs, Drop Dead Diva, Days of Our Lives, and Desperate Housewives. She has also appeared in several television crime dramas, including Dexter and Brimstone , as well numerous sitcoms such as Freddie , According to Jim , and Rules of Engagement . Petroro is credited as Marisa Parker in some of her film and television roles. [2]
As of November 2022, Petroro's most prominent film role was as Cristina Ford in the Oscar-winning film Ford v Ferrari . [2] She has appeared in several other films since 1997, when she made her film debut in the romantic comedy Rose by Any Other Name. Petroro has since appeared in several other romantic comedies, including Pumpkin (2002) and Everybody Wants to Be Italian (2007). She has also played roles in the psychological thriller and horror films A Murder of Crowes (1998) and Unrest (2006).
