Mark Capelin (born 2 July 1978) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the NRL.
Capelin, a local junior out of De La Salle, came through the ranks at the Cronulla club from the Under 19s.
A forward, he made two first-grade appearances in the 2001 NRL season. His debut came in round 9 against the Newcastle Knights, which he started as the Sharks' hooker. His only other first grade appearance came the following round when he featured off the bench against the New Zealand Warriors. He was released by the Cronulla outfit at the end of the 2001 season and never played first grade rugby league again [2] Since retirement, he became the owner of Tribe Social Fitness in Taren Point. The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Cronulla, in the Sutherland Shire, Southern Sydney, New South Wales. The Cronulla Sharks compete in the National Rugby League (NRL), Australasia's premier rugby league competition. The Sharks, as they are commonly known, were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby League premiership, predecessor of the Australian Rugby League and the current National Rugby League competition, in January 1967. The club competed in every premiership season since then and, during the Super League war, joined the rebel competition before continuing on in the re-united NRL Premiership. The Sharks have been in competition for 56 years, appearing in four grand finals, winning their first premiership in 2016 after defeating the Melbourne Storm at Stadium Australia.

Shane Flanagan is an Australian professional rugby league football coach and commentator, and is the head coach of the St George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League. He was the head coach of the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks and was appointed assistant coach of the Sharks in 2006 and was subsequently appointed to the top position when former coach Ricky Stuart resigned on 20 July 2010. Flanagan is currently the assistant coach at the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and Coaching Director of the PNG Kumuls. He is the father of Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs player Kyle Flanagan.
