Mark Dalbey is the former president of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, the denominational seminary of the Presbyterian Church in America. [1] He was appointed vice president of academics in 2009, [2] prior to which he served as the dean of students for ten years. He began teaching at Covenant in 1999 as an assistant professor of practical theology, following almost twenty years in ordained pastoral ministry. [3] Dalbey has a BA in philosophy and religion from Tarkio College, an M.Div. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. from Covenant Theological Seminary. [4] Dalbey previously served as a pastor in Cincinnati, Ohio, and taught at Geneva College, Pennsylvania. [4]

Head of Covenant Theological Seminary

As of April 28, 2012, Dalbey was the acting president of Covenant Theological Seminary, when his office announced of decisions by the board of trustees, that Dr Bryan Chapell, current president of Covenant Seminary, will be transitioning from sabbatical to the newly created position of chancellor, and Dalbey will assume the position of interim president. [5] [6] [7] [8] On September 26, 2013, Dalbey was inaugurated as president. [1] He served as president until June 30, 2021.

Bryan Chapell is an American pastor and theologian who currently serves as the Stated Clerk of the Presbyterian Church in America. He was previously the senior pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, Illinois. Prior to that he was president and chancellor of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri for twenty years. Chapell is also an author, lecturer, and conference speaker specializing in homiletics. He served as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in America in 2014.

Michael Anthony Milton is an American Presbyterian minister, theologian, educator, pastor, broadcaster, author, musician and retired U.S. Army Chaplain (Colonel). Initially a pastoral intern under D. James Kennedy, Milton became President and Senior Fellow of the D. James Kennedy Institute of Reformed Leadership. Milton succeeded Kennedy as the Teaching Pastor on the nationally televised sermon broadcast Truths That Transform (2013–2015). E. LeBron Fairbanks is a leadership consultant, an adjunct professor at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary, and a retired American ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene who is President emeritus of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, President emeritus of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary, and who served the Church of the Nazarene as the Education Commissioner from March 2008 to September 2011. Additionally, Fairbanks was an editor in the Church Schools Department of the Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City, Missouri; Academic Dean of European Nazarene Bible College in Busingen, Germany (1978–1982); Associate Professor of Christian Education and Lay Ministry Development, and Coordinator of the Master of Ministry program at Bethany Nazarene College (1982–1984); the 2nd President of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) in Taytay, Rizal, the Philippines from September 1984 to July 1989; and the 5th President of Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) in Mount Vernon, Ohio, for over 17 years from July 1989 until his retirement on January 31, 2007. Douglas Hahn is an American prelate who served as the seventh Episcopal Bishop of Lexington. He was elected on August 18, 2012, and consecrated on December 15, 2012, in Lexington, Kentucky. He served until March 9, 2016, when he was suspended for one year for lying during the bishop interview process about past adultery with a parishioner. In October of that year, the Standing Committee of the diocese asked that Hahn resign as head of the diocese. In December, Hahn agreed to resign as of the end of his suspension, on March 10, 2017.

Adam W. Greenway is an American pastor, theologian and religious leader. He served as the 9th president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) in Fort Worth, Texas from 2019 to 2022. He was the youngest president in the history of the seminary, being installed at 41 years old. Simultaneous with his role as president, he served as a Professor of Evangelism and Apologetics. A report release by the school in June 2023 concluded that Greenway misspent seminary funds during his tenure.
