Mark Hamway (born August 9, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan) is an American retired professional ice hockey player who played 53 games in the National Hockey League between 1985 and 1987 for the New York Islanders. The rest of his career, which lasted between 1983 and 1987, was spent in the minor leagues.

Färjestad Bollklubb is a Swedish professional ice hockey team based in Karlstad. Färjestad has had 20 Swedish Championship final appearances, winning nine times since the Swedish Hockey League was started in 1975, making them the most successful SHL club in history. Jarvis never missed a regular season game in his NHL career, which began on October 8, 1975 and ran until 1987. He previously served as an assistant coach for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. He is currently a Senior Advisor for the Vancouver Canucks.

Frölunda Hockey Club, previously known as the Frölunda Indians, is a Swedish professional ice hockey club based in Gothenburg. They currently play in the highest Swedish league, the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), formerly the Elitserien, where they have played for most of the club's existence. The NHL Supplemental Draft was a draft that was established by the National Hockey League as an offshoot of the NHL Entry Draft between 1986 and 1994. The Supplemental Draft was used by teams to select collegiate ice hockey players who were not eligible for the standard Entry Draft. Unlike the Entry Draft, most players selected never played in the NHL, although a few "diamonds in the rough" went on to NHL careers. The players selected in the Supplemental Draft who enjoyed NHL careers of over 100 games are John Cullen, Bob Kudelski, Dave Snuggerud, Shawn Chambers, Jamie Baker, Todd Krygier, Chris Tancill, Cory Cross, Steve Rucchin, Steve Guolla, and Steve Martins. The Supplemental Draft was discontinued by the 1995 collective bargaining agreement.

Lorne Austin Davis was a Canadian ice hockey player, and later a scout. He played for four teams in the National Hockey League between 1951 and 1960, with the rest of his career spent in the minor leagues. He was an eighth round selection, 182nd overall, of the Calgary Flames at the 1981 NHL Entry Draft and played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings and Buffalo Sabres in addition to the Flames before settling into a long minor league career. Internationally, DeGray represented Canada on one occasion; he was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 1995 World Championship. Daniel Norman Dorion is a retired American ice hockey right winger who played four games with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL) between 1985–86 and 1987–88. The rest of his career, which lasted from 19986 to 1995, was mainly spent in the minor American Hockey League and in Europe. Internationally Dorion played for the American national team at the 1985 World Championship.

Ian Kidd is an American retired professional ice hockey defenseman. Selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1986 NHL Supplemental Draft, he played 30 games for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League between 1987 and 1989, but spent the bulk of his professional career in the minor International Hockey League. Prior to turning professional Kidd played college hockey at the University of North Dakota, winning the NCAA championship in 1987.

Perry Kenneth Ganchar is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward who played 42 games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and Pittsburgh Penguins. Ganchar served as head coach for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League for two seasons.

Todd A. Flichel is a Canadian retired ice hockey defenceman. He played 6 games in the National Hockey League for the Winnipeg Jets between 1987 and 1990. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1988 to 1994, was spent in the minor American Hockey League and International Hockey League
